We arrived after the usual lunch crowd (about 2:15) so the restaurant was quite quiet. There was a musician quietly playing as we arrived. They brought cool wet towels as we sat down - a nice touch that appears to be prevalent in most restos at lunchtime in Jogjakarta. I'm a new vegetarian but found enough tasty traditional food to... The buffet spread was good with choice for veg and non veg. There were some low sweet desserts too. Beer is served on the table. The tables are set in a portico of what looks like an old huge mansion. Service war good and there was music and traditional dance.

Went here after visiting The Sultans Palace. It offers some varieties of Indonesian food as a buffet. Food wasn't that great and was disappointing. They serve various juices and that wasn't good either. The place looks a bit run down. Although the service was good. There is a traditional dance done during the meals which is good depending if you... More

Every time we go to Jogja, we love to come here for lunch again and again. The building reflects javanese palace style and the atmosphere is more Javanese yet with the accompaniment of Gamelan music and a Javanese beautiful dance. The food is buffet serving lots of Javanese food choices at very good value.

Set in a lovely old building with a beautiful Javanese dance accompaniment Pendopo provides a good buffet lunch and a chance to sample several Javanese specialities. Price was very reasonable too and the dancer was excellent.

Pendopo Ndalem Resto is located in Kraton Sultan Palace Area. Traditional Javanese architecture restaurant with traditional javanese foods and drinks. The price of the foods here is affordable. Nice and clean restaurant. Recommended restaurant for travelers who come to Yogyakarta and want to try traditional javanese foods and drinks!

This restaurant is like a hidden paradise, totally worth recommending! I love the architecture cause it feels like you're eating in the house of Sultan Yogyakarta whenever you visit this place. Decent range of nice street foods combined with their special Wedang and reasonable price. Everytime I have friends who visit Jogja for the first time, I always bring them... More

This resto served Javanese street and traditional foods. It's located at Sultan palace area. It also served unique hot drinks called WEDANG. Wedang is made from many kind of condiments with palm sugar as sweetener, love it a lot
