Pre-covid, this was my go-to spot for Sunday brunch. In my many visits here, the service was faultless and the buffet menu exquisite! Where else can you get FRESH salmon belly tableside from the chef? Perfectly Splendid!

Had a bad experience the last time here. (Buffet) This time its faultless. From service, presentation of the food and taste. I give a solid 5 stars. All the waiters and waitresses wear mask due to the current corona pandemic. We ordered their signature set...menu. The beef Wellington is cook to perfection. One of the few french restaurant in Jakarta.More

We had a family lunch of 5, the place wasn't crowded that day. The service was excellent! The food variety is quite small because it's a themed-restaurant (French-pan), but they didn't compromise on taste. I also like the ambience and the decor a lot! One...more thing, the buffet price doesn't include drinks.More

It was my first visit to Orient8, and it was for couple dinner on Valentine's Day. Strange, the other high-rated and/or famous places were fully booked. The venue was nicely decorated although it was towards the obnoxious side of style. I feel there was an...overall disconnection since the staffs wore vest with Napoleon face (printed at the back). I always look at the menu first before make a booking because MB can't eat meat. Therefore, I had to make sure Orient8 has seafood menu and according to the website, it does. Shockingly, Orient8 only offered Saint Valentine menu and buffet on that day, so either you go for the IDR888k++/pax menu or the buffet. This was not mentioned anywhere when I made the booking; therefore, it was disappointing. The staff said the meat could be replaced by seafood but he didn't even seem sure, and the usual menu wasn't available on that day. We also didn't want to get buffet since the dinner was for a quality time together. After about 20 minutes they finally came up with solution and gave us their usual menu. We ordered a bottle of house red wine, two appetisers (smoked salmon and grilled octopus), escargot, and two mains (seafood bouillabaisse for him and duck confit for me). In general, the food was delicious. The grilled octopus was the star of the night while the delicious duck confit wasn't melted in your mouth as the way it should be cooked. In general price looked within the range. However, the "forced" Saint Valentine's menu was a rip-off.More

I had a business diner at Orient 8 in Mulia with a vegetarian partner We have informed the restaurant about it and they have made up a Taylor made diner The food was so refined, sophisticated, well presented that this will remain an unforgettable experience...The presentation of the food was also very special and many thanks to Chef Florian who has made this experience unique by providing a dessert that was delicious, entertaining and interactive We had a chance to take a picture with the Chef at the end to immortalize this culinary experience Will definitely come back !More

At first, we planned to eat in Mulia Hotel either in Table8 or The Cafe but both of them were fully booked. We found out that Mulia Hotel has few more restaurants and we wanted to try Orient8. Turns out, it was pretty good experience...with good food. The atmosphere was quite relaxing and comfortable to have a nice chat with colleagues.More

The good old classic Mulia, Simple meet Glamorous. Thats how I felt when I first saw the restaurant. and for the food, dont have much to say, speechless. for the appetizers, I chose The Classic Terrine de Foie Gras. Brilliant. for the main course, I...choose Classic Sole. This food is obviously cooked by a French Chef because only a French Chef can cook fish like this. I also choose Foie gras poêlé, with the steak. Cooked to the right temperature level that I want, Perfect medium rare! The last, how can you not be in love with Crème Brulee?More

My wife and I went to this restaurant last night, which is part of the Mulia hotel eatery. We order from their French menu and were positively surprised of the overall experience. From the appetizer to main course, it was a festival of flavors well...combined and cooked to perfection. I personally loved the beef course which was tasty and beautifully plated. The restaurant interior is luxurious and stylish. Service was attentive but not intrusive, just what you expect from this type of establishment. To resume, we add a great evening and will certainly come back.More

Would like to see wine on the menu, great selection of fresh food. Service was a little slow to come to our table, this could be improved.
