Love this place for their traditional food

Really like this place, since you have alot of traditional food choice. My favorite will be Ayam Bakar, Es Teler and Pempek (sold from other vendor) since it sort of food court area, the payment system is very manual (no debit or credit card) also...the waitress only can serve their vendor, so you need to find the right person for the right food. Nearby is also cinema (one of the oldest and the first in Jakarta), ATM and starbucks. Worst is the open area is smoking area, and the indoor usually very crowded. Overal we love this place for their traditional food. Highly recommended for people outside jakarta.More

Ayam bakar deep seasoning.

Not only ayam bakar, but you can eat gado-gado, ketoprak, rujak, es teler, mpek-mpek. And all the taste is good with a big portion (enough for two person). The culinary is good for lunch with friends. But, it's very full when lunch time.

For you international traveller! This Ayam is a worth ayam to try!

One of the most important check-list on my culinary diary is the cleanness of the food. Sometimes I tried Jakarta's food in the side of the road and the day after I ate the food I will get diarrhea. Typical central java's chicken bbq with sweet soy bean sauce

Meatballs, tempe bacem, es teler (avocado+coconut+jackfruit with sweet syrup ice drink) are my favorites here. Chicken bbq is something that I could find in any other place, but their side dishes and drink...super!

old time flavour just bring the original ambiance and taste from oldtimers

if you want to taste one of the still-exist food in town, then do try to taste and ful your belly up with Ayam Bakar Megaria. this oltimer hero always there and bring the original taste since ages ago ... a memory lane of culinary,...a travel by feast and a nice to have in jakarta... try.. expect only to redeem your culinary huntMore

Still One the Best Grilled Chicken Place To Eat

When the restaurant still exist after so many years, and it always packed with customers, there's only one explanation that's the food tastes so damn good.

Delicious Chicken

We loved the chicken... well-grilled.... chili is not very spicy... I wish that they have more spicy chili... I add jeruk limo and sweet sauce to make it tastier... Worthy to try I wish that they can add fried tahu and tempe into their menu..

very nice ayam bakar, rujak, pempek and baso and es teller

I visited this often in the past and recently come back for reunion with BFF living in this area and become regukar visitor. The food is very nice and price is reasonable. I tend to order everything whenever coming here. it is located on the...wall side of the area next to rumah koeliner. its often crowded. it has smoking and non smoking ara. be patient to get a seat.More

Delicious legendary bbq chicken indonesian style

This delicious bbq chicken is something that i cannot forget. The meat is tender, with smoky aroma and sweet savory taste from its marinade. With a plate of warm steam rice and their signature chilli sauce its really a comfort food

Es Teler is a must try!

The Ayam Bakar Metropole is located at Metropole complex, with several restaurants there and a cinema called "Cinema XXI", a popular cinema chain in Indonesia. The best menu for me is Es Teler, an Indonesian famous smoothie. The avocado and condensed milk are perfectly mixed....It's worth trying!More

Cozy place

The restaurant is located near Megaria (Metropole) cinema. The place is really cozy especially outdoor area. Good food and good price. You can hangout there beforo o after watching movie.
