We were touring around Lhasa and being westerners... we were waiting coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up...our guide recommended Summit Cafe. In we walked and, oh wow, its beautiful and... it has to have the nicest toilets on all of Tibet... but that is not the main reason we were there. I had the large cappuccino and a carrot cake...I generally... More

I very much like to try coffee in many different coffee bar or shop in Lhasa. But, Summit Cafe serve best coffee what i had in Lhasa. It was real taste of Original Western coffee. Also, atmosphere of cafe is great and very relax. thoroughly recommended .

If you ever missed your chain coffee place this is where you get your fix. With modern English pop music in the background, and the selection of sandwich and pizza on the menu, you'll find some comfort away from the yak noodles and butter tea. Prices are also just like home.

A western style cafe, very friendly staff, good choice of drinks/ snacks and reasonably priced. The cafe is nicely laid out and has a lovely atmosphere. Very nice hot chocolate and I had a slice of carrot cake. The cake is not the same as western standard but generally pretty good.

What a great place! Modern toilets, good coffe, fantastic paintings for sale, yummy sweets, and coffee cups to buy. Until Starbucks shows up in Lhasa, and even after!, this is the place for some Joe!

Good quality coffee, which kept me going during the nice visits around town. Also there are beautiful paintings of the Tibetan mountains which are available for sale. Recommend!

perfect hideway - you need to look out for the sign. If you go to Jokhang temple, it would be perfect to enjoy that italian capuccino afterwards and surf a bit in the internt. Great coffee, great cakes...western prices for sure - but that is normal.

Tibet is a fantastic destination - and we loved Tibetan food - but good coffee is hard to find and sometimes you just want something tasty and familiar for breakfast - this is the place! Very good coffee, some great options for breakfast and very friendly staff - also some very comfy armchairs. As an added bonus it probably has... More

I love the latte and chocolate cake but sometimes the music is too noisy in there. I often go to there with my partner and friends, the drink and food is very nice.
