Neat place with a good selection of local and international dishes. We tried the curries and tomat soups which I strongly recommend. Though the Dahl with the curry is a bit dole The food is above good but nothing special. Dinning is more expensive than other option in town though still cheap compared to a Western context This is four... More

Sometimes you can catch the owners who are super nice. The cheese momos are something I have only found in their restaurant. Amazing location on Beijing Road.

I do recommend Dunya! It is the best restaurant in town, mostly if you are trying to escape from the same dishes every other restaurant has to offer! I am not that fan of Asian cuisine, but I did try some local dishes and enjoyed a few of them, but Dunya is an oasis in that part of the world.... More

We found this little treasure 2 days before we left Lhasa after 3 weeks of traveling "through Tibet. Wish we had gone earlier. The food was great, very generous portions, great for families. The balcony is just lovely and offers great views on Tibetan city life.

Went with four friends, disappointed and not sure why it is rated number one. None of us were wowed at the nine dishes we ordered. Service indifferent and food was mediocre at best.

Safe to eat at, clean, but expensive and all tourists staying at the Yak Hotel. I had the yak burger with the mushrooms and cheese. The cheese is kind of weird and needs more of it. The burger was good, though a bit dry. Huge in size. I didn't like the fries, kind of soggy. The salad was good. The... More

It is next to our hotel in Lhasa as we stayed at Yak Hotel, we have tried once our lunch at Dunya restaurant, our guide said it was run by a Dutch couple, food is ok but we found it is more expensive than average.

We had dinner there which is just beside Yak hotel where we stayed. Nice ambience with friendly staff. It was our 1st day at Lhasa so we took their herbal tea which is good for AMS, quite tasty with a hint of sweet taste. My favorite was tomato soup, rich & Tandy, very appetizing & delicious. Onion soup was good... More
