Sometimes you can catch the owners who are super nice. The cheese momos are something I have only found in their restaurant. Amazing location on Beijing Road.

We found this little treasure 2 days before we left Lhasa after 3 weeks of traveling "through Tibet. Wish we had gone earlier. The food was great, very generous portions, great for families. The balcony is just lovely and offers great views on Tibetan city life.

Went with four friends, disappointed and not sure why it is rated number one. None of us were wowed at the nine dishes we ordered. Service indifferent and food was mediocre at best.

Safe to eat at, clean, but expensive and all tourists staying at the Yak Hotel. I had the yak burger with the mushrooms and cheese. The cheese is kind of weird and needs more of it. The burger was good, though a bit dry. Huge in size. I didn't like the fries, kind of soggy. The salad was good. The... More

It is next to our hotel in Lhasa as we stayed at Yak Hotel, we have tried once our lunch at Dunya restaurant, our guide said it was run by a Dutch couple, food is ok but we found it is more expensive than average.

We had dinner there which is just beside Yak hotel where we stayed. Nice ambience with friendly staff. It was our 1st day at Lhasa so we took their herbal tea which is good for AMS, quite tasty with a hint of sweet taste. My favorite was tomato soup, rich & Tandy, very appetizing & delicious. Onion soup was good... More

Offering a relaxed family style setting the resultant is very pleasant. Run by an American / Dutch couple the restaurant offers a large menu which includes western dishes including sandwiches, burgers, pasta and pizza supported by Tibetan & Nepalese food. The restaurant is large and would easily accommodate large groups. We ate here twice, the Yak Steak (a little tuff)... More

We stayed in the next door Yak Hotel so had breakfast and some diners here. It is a bit more expensive then other restaurants but the quality is excellent and the portions are big. They serve western and asian dishes and the bar upstairs has good range of western beers. Breakfast is good too but the orange juice is watery... More
