I was staying at the Shangri-La hotel and my host suggests that we just have dinner here in the evening s the restaurant is right inside the hotel. Knowing that Chinese food can be quite heavy and greasy, which won't be good for heavily jet-lagged...More

We ate at JiangNan Wok during our stay at the Shangri-La. You need to make reservations to eat dinner as the dining room is small and it fills up quickly. The service levels here are not very good relative to Shangri-la standards. It was hard...More

This hotel is very popular among locals and hotel visitors. Its menu combines traditional Southern flavours and a touch of Sichuan ingredients. I recommend its duck and Yellow fish deep fried with vinegar. Great, over worked staff.

We came here for dinner with a party of 4 after hearing the buzz about this relatively new restaurant in the Shangri-La. My advice is that reserve a table whether than do a walk in as the restaurant is quite busy. We left at almost...More

Have been residing in China for more than 17 years and must say, this meal at Jiangnan Wok would be rated as one of the most memorable experiences of Chinese dining. I'm not a big fan of fish, but the steamed "White Fish" was absolutely...More
