Great food, cold beer... And the owner Ian, is a Scottish born engineer. He opened this pub 8-years ago after his day job brought him to China. A visit to Nanjing isn't complete without a stop to this pub...

Really great pub with a huge selection of whiskers. Food was simple and delicious. Well worth a visit in my humble opinion. A little Irish in a sea of China.

Great beer, great food and great atmosphere. The décor is more 'smart British pub' than your 'standard' Irish theme bar (it's owned by a Scotsman!), it's very clean and the newly opened Malt Room is a real gem. The Guinness is brewed in Dublin. Thoroughly recommended. Best place to eat, drink and socialise in Nanjing.

I've been here once, and the food was good. We went near closing for a friend's birthday, and although they did take awhile with our food, it was all nice. It is a "western style" atmosphere and the workers were very friendly.

We stumbled upon this pub by accident, looking for a place to have a beer. That seems impossible in Nanjing, so we were happy to find this bar. The owner is a super friendly guy that showed us around, there is a whiskey bar upstairs with rare bottles. The food is what one expects in an Irish pub in China,... More

I enjoy an occasional evening out at a restaurant in Nanjing, and one of the few places to go and truly make an evening of it is Finnegan's Wake. The food is quite good. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is that of a European pub. The manager often comes to my table for a few words and willingly recommends... More

Ian is such a nice guy. Made myself and my friends feel straight at home. Sampling us some Whisky and entertaining us for a couple of evenings (wish I had found it sooner in my trip). The upstairs part is perfect to relax or even have a meeting in with a private meeting room which was beautifully decorated. The whole... More

I really enjoyed my first visit here a couple of months ago & was long overdue a return visit. Return I did & enjoyed some beautiful Killkenny beer & a delicious Guinness & Steak Pie. But the absolute highlight was when Ian showed us the Whisky bar upstairs. Its a haven in this bustling city & has a great range... More
