This was our first time at Stoep and we will definitely come back again. Every thing right from the food, the service, the view and our bill for the amount we ate, was perfect. We ordered one of their dips with garlic bread, the south african sausage, garlic prawns and Peri Peri prawns, 2 Savanna ciders, 2 beers and 2... More

I ordered the Biltong salad the other day during a very hot and balmy day. This is a new dish with sliced cherry tomato and rocket salad with marinated chick peas, topped with sliced cheese and biltong meat! A light but satisfying dish for the summer months! A must!

Just when I started loving the rut I was in (Which I'm prone to when it comes to food) Dolla brings a series of delicious new items to awaken your appetite Now I'm in love - tenderloin beef cooked to perfection crisp and succulent shell wot the bacon wrap and a gorgeous pink inside that is true fresh beef Keep... The Stoep only moved 50m along the beach from it's original location, but unfortunately it's no longer "on the beach" but just far enough back to make a difference. The food is the same - focused on barbecue so not great for veggies like me - with just enough to keep me happy, and the ambiance is nice if not... More

I wonder why it is so difficult to have some ok-food on Lantau. I tried many restaurants over the last months, and was always disappointed given the pricing, etc. The Stoep was another bad example and definitely we will not come back. Only positive thing was the staff. Place looks not that clean, fries were soaked in fat (we got... More

After more than a decade at its old and great location, the Stoep couldn't renew its lease and had to move to a new location, albeit just 150m away. It's a bit recessed but still enjoys a sea view. There are less tables and the atmosphere is much more relaxed than at the old place. The service and food has... More

It's the kind of food that warms you to the bone on a cold day like today And the service and care you get from the chef and the team makes that warmth turn into friendship The food is the best on Lantau island and even better than most of the expensive soho restaurants I've been to And it's not... Start off with a delicious Greek salad! The salad is freshly made with romaine lettuce, cumbers, baby tomato's and fetta cheese topped with a mild favorable dressing! Then order the Bobotie! South Africa's national dish! Dolla's ingredients and seasoning for this dish is superb! Save room for dessert for 'Tipsy Pudding'! Good value! Good food! Good service! They also serve... More

So grateful to have stumbled upon this place on the first day of CNY!We ended up on Lower Cheung Sha Beach after a hike to find only one place open, The Stoep. We had to wait to be seated, but it was worth it. The sun was shining and the beach view beautiful. The beer was cold, the bread was... More
