Loved the scallops, which were in a nice sauce with cashews. Also the beef sizzling was very good. We had a vegetarian and he loved it. He at tofu and mushrooms. Friendly family atmosphere.

Fast good food served by efficient if not particularly happy staff! The décor is a bit dated but the food more than made up for it with the sea food in particular being v good

Having lived in HK for several years, we continue the quest for Peking Duck. Granted, HK is not Peking but somewhere in the city must serve better duck than here! The restaurant lacks ambiance.....mainly tourists supposedly hoping for Chinese fare. The duck was not that good but the pancakes were tasty and definitely freshly made. Other dishes were ok.....chicken and... More

I attended a Toastmasters meeting back in 1983 and we all went out for dinner. The place was packed. The food was ordered and arrived fast. Everything was perfectly done and service was brisk. I go there a few times a year and still same food and same service. They speak enough English to get the orders right - you... More

'American' Peking is right on this one. This restaurant doesn't resemble Beijing food or delicious Peking duck at all. The duck itself wasn't sliced properly and lacked the crispy skin of a good peking duck. Also, what are supposed to be ultra-thin pancakes, matchstick cucumbers and spring onions, were more like thick tortillas for soft tacos and poorly chopped chunks... More

i always order the same things, and when new people try them for the first time they are astounded, but usually i get an old gang together to enjoy them all the same. Servers are in their 70's so the negative reviews need to be taken with a huge grain of salt. yes it is noisy and should be! The... More

The whole pecking duck for 375hkd was bland and has very thick meat that comes along with the crispy skin. After serving our orders, the servers ate right beside our table. It felt as if the restaurant "used to be" good but in time they just slowly lost their magic.

Meeting we friends. The food was very good and nothing to do with an American restaurant but rather beijing food. The service is rather brutal and the space is quiet loud.

Went for a late lunch expecting to enjoy traditional Peking Duck--thin slices of duck with crispy skin and wrapping it with cucumber and sauce to excite my palette--to my surprise we got thick cuts of duck with a very slight crisp skin, no wrap and a few chunks of cucumber on the side--quite disappointing. If you want traditional Peking Duck... More

This restaurant was recommend by the hotel for Peking Duck. What a disappointment, the duck that was served to us was basically skin, the meat was left in the bones. We were presented with a plate full of duck skin. Also, there is no service or ambiance. Waiters hardly acknowledge us. I would not recommend or go back to this... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
