We were treated to lunch by locals who recommended that we try some traditional shanghai cuisine, what a delightful dining experience it was. Variety of dishes including tea smoked eggs and my favourite the bean curd with cashew and chilli was - bean curd was perfectly silky, crispy rice cones which they modified to a vege filling are something I've... The quality of cooking is OK but I can think of better Shanghaiese places in HK. It is not full on a Sunday afternoon and the only reason is not great QPR ( but we all understand that rent at PP is very high! ).

Haven't been to this restaurant for many years. Revisited last week. Comfortable, good for both biz and casual lunch. Table sufficiently well spaced out. Decent service. Relatively efficient. Quality of food is decent not top quality but good Enuv. The beauty is its in pacific place and close to work!

According to our host, this restaurant serves better Shanghainese dishes than can be found in Shanghai! True to their word, every dish did not disappoint! We were too engrossed in the food until we forgot to take any pictures!

We were a group of 9 people from around the world and everyone enjoyed the food. We ordered most of the signature dishes so we could all try 12- 13 dishes. The crispy eel was particularly good as was the kung pao chicken and river shimp dish. We enjoyed the Peking duck but, honestly, I would probably not order that... More

Close walk from Island Shangi-la and was very busy on a Friday evening with families and groups of friends. Food was excellent - service as expected a little perfunctory -however when I splashed food on my new cream jacket someone arrived almost immediately with a towel and soda water - many thanks for this!

Shanghainese fare has generally been equated to greasy cuisine. However Ye Shanghai has been able to execute a fresh, clean-tasting and full flavored menu that keeps you wanting to explore more and more each time. From Spicy Dan dan noodles to fried baos to surprisingly savory peanut & chicken vermicelli sheets, this restaurant has become part of the list Iook... More

Great place to meet friends and socialize. The food is great and there's no pressure from the staff, who's actually very kind and pay attention to details.

I met a local friend at Ye Shanghai at her recommendation. The venue is smart casual. The decor is modern, lovely Chinese fare (not the place to go for dumplings or sweet and sour pork) and service is good. Nice place eat if you happen to be in the Pacific Place arcade or near Admiralty station. Bon appetite
