We were already late for dinner and tired of going around hong kong the whole day. It was a yummy treat at Ebeneezers... delicious tandoori chicken kebabs and amazing fish biryani with salad. Lots of options to choose from middle eastern and indian cuisine if you are not a big fan of seafood and tired of eating burgers. Good choice... More

As a kebab "connoisseur" I have tried so many different kinds in different parts of the world but this was something else. The meat, the bread, the spices - all perfect! A bit on the pricey side but a perfect kebab nonetheless. The service was nice too.

Coming from a small English town with several kebab outlets, but only a couple I actually use, one Greek, one Turkish owned, finding this great place in Hong Kong was a deliverance for me!! Price is equivalent to my favourite 'home-town' kebabs, so not generally 'cheap' for Asia (I've spent a lot of time in Thailand!) but is the best... More

This was my boyfriend's choice for dinner last night; and as we've been in mainland China for the last month I had to indulge him. We ordered 2 lamb kebabs and fries. Kebabs are not my thing but I was pleasantly surprised; very good quality meat and very tasty! Perfect spot for a quick bite before trying out some of... More

I know this place is more of a middle eastern place but they can make you a dam hot curry,i did ask for it spicy, everything here is made right in front of you and the place is spotlessly clean.I didn't try any wraps but this place works non stop with take away food, very busy which is a good thing because... The follow on to the Midnight Expess kebab house that inspired the film Chunking Express. Have lunch at 14:00 for a quieter experience. Try the Chicjen Kebab Spicy for that ultimate hit.. enjoy..

I love Ebeneezers regardless of the location. In LKF its a cheap fulfilling snack before having a good night in the bars. Its not fine dining but the quality is always the best. I have had many wraps and many samosas there and love them all.

This place is right in the mix of lan kwai fang. The perfect place to grab a bite to eat, and watch the chaos going on at 7-11 across the street. Also has pizza next door. Love it

All the Ebeneezer's outlets offer consistently good curries and other other comfort foods. Only complaint is the sneaky service charge.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
