Cova at Pacific Place used to be my favorite place for tea. Whilst it has been a few years, I am totally lost for words of how bad the service and food quality are now. I had a simple cream soup and sea bass, and even those cannot impress or differentiate from a casual eatery. Don't ever try their lunch... More

Cova has a number of restaurants/cafes established in different upmarket places. I had lunch in the one in Pacific Place, HK island. It is quite pricey. For a three course lunch (appetiser + main course + coffee) with a glass of house wine, be prepared to pay about HK$400. The food is of good quality and delicious. The coffee (which... More

The blueberry cheese cake here are definitely the best one. My fd ordered a mango cake which is also refreshing and light. Hard to believe that we can still enjoy this kind of high quality cake in HK. So lucky for us to enjoy this. Heartwarming food which can definitely relief the pressure from work. Would come and enjoy different... More

Ordered a latte & a 'croque monseiur' for a quick lunch in Festival Walk. $128 for a very boring ham & cheese slightly toasted sandwich! It was in no way anything like a delicious croque monseiur! What a disappointment. Their coffee is likewise overpriced, tasteless & disappointing ($65). This place is seen by many clueless people as a 'posh' cafe.... More

We enjoyed breakfast here this morning. Great coffee and delicious food, however, the hot food items took a very long time to come out. Very nice service.

An elegant place for enjoying high tea with your friends. Lovely pastries, posh cutlery and fine tea. Decent service as well.

We discovered this place by chance while shopping in Kowloon and what a find it was. The menu is somewhat limiting but they made up for it with the great tasting food and amazing service . The staffs were very attentive and helpful and the food ( Do try the fish of the day - it was very fresh .)... More

After a strenuous period of shopping or sightseeing this is an excellent place to unwind with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes and a variety of delicious cakes and pastries. The service is very good and one feels quite cosseted when sat at the beautiful tables with their starched white cloths , elegant china and cutlery.

As it is often difficult to get a seat for high tea in the IN spots on a weekend when they do not accept reservations we ended up in this small COVA café in the Pacific place Mall. It was no second choice at the end as we spent a lovely afternoon with good service, very nice food and nice... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
