Yummy and local Japanese food. There are much so called Japanese food in Hong Kong while it might not be that case after you give it a try. Comparatively, lunch set is my best choice, with outstanding quality and economy price (about HK$120). A variety of good food are served, with appetizers in Japanese style, steamed eggs, with coffee or... More

This could be a first-rate restaurant. The food is without exception tasty. We had grilled fish, salad, yakitori, o-chazuke, and boiled vegetables and all were excellent. The Miyazaki specialities such as chicken nanban and hiyajiru were unusual for HK and the genuine article (my wife is from Miyazaki). But this is all let down by dreadful service. Half the wait... I have thought of visiting this Japanese farmhouse style restaurant for quite some time. But it was always busy when I passed by it. I was lucky last Friday and managed to find a seat by its sushi bar because I went there pretty early after it opened for business. But very soon the restaurant was crowded with many customers,... After finally finding the restaurant (the building interior is under construction), we were greeted warmly and after a short wait we were seated. We were helped with the menu and finally decided on 4 dishes. When the food arrived it's was amazing! Particular highlights were the Salt Chili Softshell Crab and the sushi!

Despite of being in Hong Kong, if you would have closed your eyes you might have thought you were somewhere in Shibuya or Ginza. Everyone was Japanese, food is exellen and very fresh ( had the Sashimi ). The place unotunaely is really a litle bit plain and with no Japanese feeling and waiter hardly speak english ( I asked... Must say I have eaten better japanese food many times before, not only in Japan, but a lot of other countries as well. Tasted about ten different dishes btw. Got disappointed as I had big expectations after the reviews seen on tripadvisor. The tiny (three tables) izakaya shop just above the street of the hotel (Panorama Hotel by Rhombus) was... More

We tried sushi, deep fried shrimps, noodles with pork and fried chicken, all excellent from our experience. But we don't recommend the green tea ice cream.
