Good sushi sashimi, unagi, yellow tail recommended but a little pricey considering its pretty run of the mill stuff and not exclusive. Still recommended though.

The restaurant needs a little makeover as its looking very tired. Was surprised to find it empty, considering this old favourite used to be packed most of the time. The service was good and the food reasonable, yet something was missing? At HK$1400 for two, there are much better places.

3 of us had lunch at KJ today. Our table was booked for 130pm & it was a good thing coz it was humming. The noise level inside was deafening but I guess that's to be expected when you try to cram as many guests as possible into a small space. That's just HK. Within 5 minutes of sitting down... More

The quality of food was not fantastic, for the price it charges I expect better quality. Would rather recommend another Japanese restaurant in the vicinity which is much better.

A small and intimate restaurant. It was a Monday night and we had not booked. They kindly accommodated us quickly. Staff were very polite, service exceptionally slick and the sushi was to die for, simply delicious. A good range of hot options too. A very nice dining experience indeed.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
