We had the famous afternoon tea at the Peninsula and I must admit we were both disappointed. The setting is very elegant and grand but the selection isn't great. I don't know if we were just spoiled with all the lovely places in London that serve outstanding afternoon tea or if The Peninsula just lives on its 'iconic afternoon tea'... More

The high class afternoon really pleased my taste bud! With delicate and delicious desserts and traditional muffins and little sandwiches, so satisfied!

Last august I stayed at The Peninsula. Service was up to perfection. This time we decided to stay at another hotel. We decided to have a drink at The Lobby of the Peninsula before turning in our hotel. With the music and ambiance, if you can afford, is a must when visiting Hong Kong. But after a long trip, and... Having afternoon tea in the Peninsula is a special for anyone who goes even if you don’t drink tea. We were there for Breast Cancer Awareness Month so everything from the Champagne to the food was Pink! The teas are smooth and delicious and the finger sandwiches, cakes and cookies are tasty treats. No reservations are taken so early arrival... More

Having lunch/afternoon tea is just a pleasure here. Enjoying the great live band playing all the great music. Love it. Won't have lunch elsewhere if i am not in rush anymore.

I regularly take my Hong Kong visitors to the Peninsula and love their reaction when they enter the area. No Mr Chan to open the front door now, but the new staff are as welcoming. Yes, it is very ''old world" but that is what makes it so wonderful. We had High Tea last week and it was sensational (as... More

We didn't have the opportunity to make High Tea but breakfast was great. The atmosphere is exceptional; the service staff well trained and attentive without being overbearing. This is a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend some time Sunday morning and watch the world pass through the lobby.

I actually went in Sept 2015 as part of our honeymoon. All of the food was really good. Nice selection of teas on offer which was much appreciated. The only think I didn't like about the afternoon tea here was the fact that the queue to wait runs alongside some of the tables. We were lucky and were seated away... More

This was my four high tea at the Peninsula Hotel lobby. It's nice they always have a different theme. This month was pink for breast cancer research. Always feels like your stepping back in time. The clientele is changing its was a little noisy than previous visits. You will always have to que for around 50 minutes as they don't... More

Be prepared to queue for this fabulous experience. We arrived at about 3.15 pm and had to wait about an hour for a table which was no great hardship in the stunning lobby of the Peninsula Hotel. The queue seemed to get considerably smaller as the afternoon progressed. There are dress standards so be aware of these before joining the... More
