It was our second family dinner at The Lobby of The Peninsula and will definitely return again! We love the environment, service, food and drinks!

I had travelled to Hong Kong with my family and we had HighTea at The Peninsula. This was a very special experience and I totally recommend it to anyone travelling to Hong Kong.

This historic hotel is as interesting as people watch place. There was a traditional Chinese wedding, bride in red gold embroidered. There was not an hour later, another bride in flowing white gown. Tourists abound. No back-packer. There was music a 5 piece palm court band, playing all the waltzes, the old standards. What a place, one of my favourite... More

if you have been to Raffles in Singapore this is better. In the wonderful lobby you get silver service. Tea from silver teapot, sandwiches which are perfect and the fascinating parade of guest and local ladies to entertain you. We spent a good hour enjoying this location. Loved it

One afternoon during our stay at the Peninsula Hong Kong, we went to have Afternoon Tea at the Lobby Restaurant. The Lobby at the Peninsula is an iconic room that once served as the waiting room at one terminus of the Orient a Express. It is huge, high ceilinged and beautifully decorated. It is also where the Penisula serves their... More

Just a usual lobby restaurant for a grand hotel. Not really a concept on their menu. Tastes good, but no recommendation for that relatively high prices.

We were a party of 4, and we each had afternoon tea with pink champagne, and enjoyed the whole experience. Service is Peninsula quality, food is fantastic and the ambiance of the Peninsula Lobby with the band playing some great old standards made this even more special.

Beautiful building worth a visit but be ready to buy expensive tea\coffee as you would expect. Small classical band stated playing at noon. Must say the best bit for me was looking around the shops. There's a Cartier and Rolex shop in the foyer and the mezzanine has jewellery shops with pieces that could put some crown jewels to shame.... More

Yes, it's touristy, yes there is a line, but it's an experience like no other--the room and its colonial feel/history. Line up by 1:30 if you want to be in the first seating. The tea service is amazing. They have a small army of people making sure you have ample hot water. Lovely assortment of savory and sweet treats. Probably... More
