I am a frequent visitor to Hong Kong so I'm often asked what are the must do places in HKG. Well tea at the Peninsula is always at the top of the list. The Peninsula may not be in the budget for the average tourist but if you can afford to do it, tea is an easy way to see... More

I am working my way around the world trying high teas. This venue is certainly one of the best for service, ambience and food. get there early to avoid the queues. It was just lovely to eat and sip tea and listen to the orchestra. It was the birthday of one of our group and they rustled up a birthday... More

All "afternoon tea" experiences in Hong Kong are not the same. A few people recommended that my friends and I try afternoon tea at the Peninsula so one afternoon while we were in the area we decided to give it a shot. You don't need a reservation which was perfect for us because that may have deterred us from the... More

If you want to watch the fireworks or laser light display book evening dinner at the Peninsula. Stunning views, great ford and fantastic cocktails. On the expensive side, just typical of hotel pricing , BUT, it was worth every penny

This was my first stop when I arrived in HK, after checking into my hotel. I wanted to catch my breath and plan my trip with a little quiet. Afternoon tea was wonderful and felt very English. There was a wonderful string band playing in the background. The staff were very helpful and I did hope to visit again, to... More

This hotel is luxary and the lobby is grand too. The deco is cosy and elegant. I like the staircase very much. I went there because i had a buffet lunch in the hotel. If not, i might not go there to only to see the lobby.

With a cup of classic afternoon tea in hand, the Peninsula Hotel Kowloon Hong Kong is undoubtedly the best venue in history for gazing the world passing by since the pre-war era till date! Another much- cherished comparison would be Singapore Shangrila Hotel's famed Birds Aviary Cafe in the early 70s. Although the Victoria Habour vista from this legendary Lobby... More
