Thanks Luke, Amy and their team for offering us the fantastic dinner to celebrate the birthday of my wife on October 20 night, which was really impressive providing us unforgettable dining experience. The dishes werer tasty and innovative, which we felt surprising and experienced different dimensions of taste in French cuisine. The serving staff were knowledgeable on the menus, food... More

One of the best French restaurant I have eaten, the degustation menu was perfect. The menu was based on fresh seasonal fall ingredients. One of the highlight is definitely the fantastic views of the harbor.

If there was a "template" for a Michelin grade restaurant, this would be it. Sitting at the top of one of Hong Kong's most iconic hotels with a penthouse view of the hub bub below. Hushed dining room with elegant bar, deep carpets, and fine textiles. While the stratospheric prices should come as no surprise, this restaurant deserves every penny.... More

We went with a group of folks frequent at top level establishments around the globe. And the servers just fell flat on their faces - unable to understand and deliver orders, explain stuff on the over-complicated menu, suggest drink replacements for the brands the don't carry, etc. The food was not bad, but the overall experience not worth the money.... A stunning feast for the senses, Pierre Gagnaire's restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong boasts lavish and tasteful decor, professional yet personable service, and most importantly, an innovative and flawlessly executed menu. My Father and I enjoyed dinner tremendously this evening; every single dish on the different tasting menus impressed, from the amuse bouche right up until dessert... More

We have been before and had amazing experiences. This evening the food was as good as before and the wine pairing made it all superb. I love the elegant, understated decor and ambience. We will be back for more special evenings. Having said this I don't give highest ratings this time since the service felt rushed. The food came too... More

Went there to celebrate a birthday and they were absolutely on it. Very good service, good wines, tried the tasting menu and it was awesome, the bread was very good. Not the cheapest meal when you factor in drinks too. All in all if the $$ is not an issue and you like the cuisine then a must try. Enjoy... More

This stunning two-Michelin starred restaurant, situated on the 25th floor, is Pierre Gagnaire's pied a terre in Hong Kong. It is here that diners can experience outstanding modern French cuisine in a stunning environment.

With a culinary team led by Gagnaire's protege, Jean Denis Le Bras, diners can expect creative interpretations of classic dishes with seductive flavours that are truly worthy of their two Michelin-stars.

A vision of contemporary luxury, Pierre's decor incorporates luxurious fabrics in a mixture of charcoal, cherry, blue and black highlighted with silver and crystal. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views over Victoria Harbour while the central chandelier changes colour to suit the mood. Atmospheric, dramatic and very chic, it's the perfect setting in which to enjoy phenomenal cuisine.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
