We came into the restaurant yesterday for a late lunch with our family asking at the door whether they would be serving since the place was empty but open around 4pm but then was greeted by in elder bald waiter. By viewing the michelin star in front, our hopes were high but once we came in this specific elder waiter... More

The dim sum Food was nice , but all single things such as pickle ,chili , soya sauce, we have to paid - it's misleading to put on our table and we thought it's free but we must paid it. The service was ok but the food delivery was very slow. Next time you must ask them when they put... More

We went for late lunch (less people) so service was great, very attentive. We ordered the oyster omelette, fish maw soup and sliced goose. All were yummy specially fish maw soup. Also tried their century egg, which was my least favorite because it has stronger flavor and funky smell compared to the ones i'm used to. Just note that this... More

Good for family gatherings. Easy booking via Facebook. Michelin star restaurant nearby our hotel Lanson Place. Walking distance. Good service. Pricey so be ready. Toilet wasn't so clean they should throw out the trash before it gets overflowing. Didn't like that they charged for appetizers which we didn't eat. Food quality was good. Would recommend if you have family gathering... More

Visiting relatives here in Kowloon, we had a delicious dinner at this very nice upscale restaurant. I am not familiar with the specifics but what I am told, is that this style food comes from Eastern Guangdong Province. The food and service was excellent. My palate is traditional cantonese style cooking so I have never had this style food before.... More

Came to this restaurant to buy the traditional Chiu Chow yam paste pastry mooncakes and decided to dine here as well. The Chiu Chow dishes like braised goose , oyster omelette, fish skin in superior broth met our expectation. Must commend the staff at reception. She arranged for a corner table for us when she saw that we had many... More

My good memories of this restaurant has been completely wiped out this time when I went there in August this year. The taste of the food was not good at all compare to several years ago. I usually love so much the chicken with chili leaves but I was completely disappointed. Besides salty, I don't know what other words to... More

Must go place for Chiu Chow cuisine. Do not miss the marinated goose, intestines and duck tongue. Do not have any pictures since the food were consumed right after being set on the table. Not expensive.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
