At their best - they are very good. Problem is - it doesn't happen regularly and when you pay so much for a dinner, you expect consistency. That never used to be a problem until recently (past 12 months). Been coming to this restaurant for the past 10 years - 2/3 times a year. I used to rate this on... More

Very disappointed. There are many places for Italian brunch in the city. Compare to Sabatini Ristorante Italiano@Royal Garden hotel and my favorite dinning place, Al Molo... Grissini is disappointed.

Our family returned to Grissini again tonight, and as per expected we were greeted with excellent service and food quality. It was my sister's birthday and the restaurant even gave us an instant photo printout as souvenir!

We staying at the Grand Hyatt In HK and after an exhausting Foodie walking tour we decided to stay in the hotel for dinner and stay cool in the A/C and eat Italian. After reading some mixed reviews about Grissini's we tried it. We were impressed from the minute we stepped off of the lift as we were greeted by... More

Been out for business dinner. They have many trainee service staff who were clueless what they need to do. Had to ask for everything three times before they could serve. For a fine dinning place, I believe they should have more trained servers. The quality of food has also gone down when compared to my last visit. Wouldn't recommend this... More

I'm a 20+ year resident of HK and frankly thought that this artifact from the 1980's heyday of overpriced business lunches was gone, like the all the cigar divans that had been about then. Nope, still going, and still serving over-wrought decorated plates of appetisers and plates of pasta sized for stick thin models (on a good day). I think... More

Grissini is probably one of the best Sunday brunch you can find in HK. They have a lot of varieties of food. Cold cut, roasted beef and pork, lasagna, pasta station, dessert bar and a table of different hot food. Moreover, you can also order different dishes from their menu (it's all you can eat). The food is really in... More

Description
Grissini commands panoramic views of Victoria Harbour. Its contemporary interior design, Philippe Starck chairs and modern Tony Delapp paintings conjure up the feeling of a stylish New York restaurant.Dramatically situated at the entrance is a large baking oven, where freshly baked grissini breadsticks fill the whole restaurant with a delicious aroma. The grissini breadsticks are served during lunch and dinner; guests love Grissini for its authentic Italian cuisine. An extensive selection of Italian wines is displayed in the two-storey wine cellar with an impressive floor-to-ceiling Vinotheque.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
