The place was full of Westeners. Nowadays if you book your hotel on internet breakfast is propably not included in the room price and separately bought breakfasts tend to be too expensive. This would be a solution. On the second floor. It is serving egg-based English type breakfast from huge to smaller ones. My choice was 1 Burrito sandwich with... More

Having been in HK for a while, we really wanted a decent western style breakfast. Flying Pan absolutely delighted! There is a really extensive menu with eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage, beans etc. You can have almost anything your own way! Service is great, fast and efficient. Location is super handy. It's a gem of a place. Do try it. Don't... More

A no frills place, on the 2nd floor of a building in Lockhart road in Wan Chai, this unpretentious eatery will do breakfast any way you like it. Mine was a Full English. Indulge in a great start to your day. The Bloody Mary is optional...

I came here based on my friend's recommendation. Food is ok.. well a bit pricey for just breakfast food. You wont miss this place. I wont go all the way for it unless Im in the area. What Im most disappointed is that this restaurant runs a monthly instagram contest. I entered it and based on the requirement, I had... More

Went to the Frying Pan as it was directly behind my hotel and suggested by the hotel staff, after a night of drinking, this place really hit the spot!! Food was awesome although the service a little slow but that was due to the volume of people in the restaurant Defiantly visiting again next time I am in Wanchai

We visited early afternoon on Friday and it was very quiet and so the service was very quick. The manager was really helpful and attentive. This is a good traditional style diner which we have always enjoyed. Philly steak, Blueberry Pancakes, Eggs Benedict and a Mexistyle breakfast.... All tasty and plentiful. It's not cheap but HK isn't cheap!! At night... More

Very nice breakfast served 24 hours. The combos are a very good value and love the potatoes. Coffee a bit pricey at 4-5 USD.

The food itself was OK, rather average, however before we sat down and looked at the menu we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee - of course! So I ordered a coffee, opened the menu to find that tea or coffee are the only drinks not included in any of the meals or sets and that a filter... More

Tastes that way to me. Anyone who is needing a change of taste needs to make a stop for all day breakfast. Portions are large and the staff is great.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
