As great as Hong Kong is, the typical Chinese breakfast was not something Im a huge fan of (being from Australia). The Flying Pan, was a great relief to find as I would much prefer eggs and bacon than noodles for breakfast. Good value for money and good service.

If you want a typical American breakfast/brunch, then this is the place to go. Portions are huge and food is a bit greasy. Restaurant has a diner-style feel to it. Our table was sticky and there was still some breadcrumbs on it, so the place could definitely be cleaner. Service was friendly and not intrusive, but it wasn't very attentive... More

Fantastic food here! Husband wanted a English breakfast and enjoyed it immensely. I went for the Eggs Piccata (Eggs Benedict with chicken and artichoke). Our plan was to enjoy a big breakfast, skip lunch, then explore the street foods. It was perfect. Very generous portion size, very filling, and incredibly flavorful! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great! Love... More

The astounding choices available in here is staggering. Various classics with so many twists. Thoroughly enjoyed the different omelettes and the massive breakfast.

We were so relieved to discover this place after 5 days in HK, we needed some familiar breakfast and there it was. The place isn't the best aesthetically but the service was great so was the food. And Breakfast even at 1pm which was great for our jet lagged group.

Met friends there as good choice and plenty of space at good value. Had English style and others had various from Eggs Benedict to American waffles. Service good, tea OK. Coffee and Orange juices were below average. Fair value.

The service here is always patchy but today waited for a table and ignored by the waiting staff for 10 minutes, despite not being particularly full. If you do get served the food is fairly reliable and good for western breakfast food, but there are better options in the area.

The men in my party appreciated the traditional English big breakfast but the menu is large so other options, such as a smoked salmon bagel, which I had, are available. Agree with another reviewer that this is a good alternative to the overpriced hotel breakfasts. Also offers a range of egg cooking stykes so everything doesn't have to come with... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
