Overall our experience at Bo Innovation was very good. The restaurant decoration itself is a fusion of classic Hong Kong eatery crossed with a New York style restaurant. Lunch started with an appetizer which was a chive flavoured egg waffle which is a twist on Hong Kong street food. The appetizer was underwhelming and the egg waffle tended to cut... More

If you enjoy food, epicurean delights, Michelin rated restaurants and fine dining- BO is a must try while in HK at least once. It's a 3 star Michelin restaurant and on the Asia top 50... All set menu plates are very unique, and themed with a Chinese core ingredient fused to a vey modern flare from western culture. Analogous to... More

This is probably the best fusion Chinese food I've had. We did the chef's table menu and every single one of the dishes were delightful. We also did the wine pairing and that was equally as good. Last but not least, service was outstanding too. Had the pleasure of meeting the Demon Chef himself. He's also very friendly and took... More

The food and experience was fantastic. memories of childhood growing up in Asia comes flooding back. I personally felt it was a touch pricey, but it was an excellent experience. well worth it for anyone who was raised in Hong Kong, or Asia.

It's the second time I visited the restaurant for lunch within 3 months. I still enjoyed so much the creative fine dining of East meets West ! The meal started with Hong Kong style Egg puffs that gave us a big smile and we felt in love with the next dish of scallop with Shanghainese jolo..the taste was so refreshing....the... More

Bo is an innovative fine dining restaurant incorporating western chinese influences that will truly provide a satisfied dining experience in every bite. It wasn't a big wow to me (maybe it's because of the high expectation I carried prior to visitation), as I'm expecting a culinary excitement given it's star rating but the overall experience is extremely satisfying. Kudos to... More

Having lunch here is a perfect way to experience three Michelin stars without paying a fortune for it. Everything we had was absolutely great except dessert which was a bit strange actually. Or maybe it was just not to our taste. Service was efficient but in restaurants like this it was that not friendly (which is surprising really). I give... More

This was absolutely superb. Straight into my top five meals ever, and makes be sad I don't live nearby to go back regularly. This kitchen produces brilliant fine-dining/Fat Duckish takes on Chinese food, that are both interesting and incredibly delicious. For example, their take on xiaolongbao (which was a soup made of the dumplings cased in a seaweed pod that... More

First and foremost .....for a change we did not have any wine and had the set lunch menu, not the tasting menu ..... however this was our first 3 Michelin starred restaurant and expected so much more. We have eaten in 24 stars already ... a few 2's and several singles. Each and every one if those blew us away... More

Reading the comments below, prior to my visit, I was expecting a lot more. I really do not understand WHY (??!) 3 Michelin stars as the experience did not WOW me at all. I agree - the decor is fading and its not a pleasant experience; you are somewhat squished and the cacophony was at times so strong, you could... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
