I had lunch at the Boathouse with my husband and our two cousins who had dined there before and we all had a fantastic time. We were seated in a quiet, private corner booth right near the front entrance which was perfect for conversation in the busy atmosphere. The entire place was packed the day we went which was a... Like touring Hong Kong is not complete without paying homage to its southern tip of the legendary Pirate's paradise some 200 years ago, your first encounter of Stanley coastal/mountain outpost would not be perfect without patronising the famed beachfront Mediterranean cafe, The Boathouse ! Italian pizza and pasta with crispy salad and french fries and a glass of fresh lime... More

The boathouse is the best restaurant option on the sea front, out of a lot of western style restaurants. The area is pricey and is a hot touristic spot. The service was great and the food fresh. We ordered a fish & Chips and a Tuna Nicoise Salad which was beautiful. Table tip: ask for a table on the balcony... More

After walking in the rain in Repulse Bay and then Stanley, we figured it was about time to find a place where we can sit and enjoy the view for an afternoon tea. Passed by several restaurants that waved us in but decided to go inside Boathouse. This yellow building at the corner of the promenade is an icon of... More

First impressions are that this is a bistro but the menu is more complex and choices are good. The service is friendly and quick and the food tasty and hot. A great meal in comfy surroundings

Just had a meal here. The staff were very friendly. The service was quick and the food was fantastic. A great place to eat and sit and watch the world go by with a few drinks.

After enduring torrential rain, all morning, first on a shuttle, then on the ferry, then on a bus to Stanley, we finally arrived and trolled thru an Excellent Market and an equally Excellent Mall. Rain easing, No, Stopping! Heat!!!! Humidity!!!! Lunch! NOW!!!!!!! First we came to was this quaint, little, yellow building with a sign outside, talking our language "... More

The boathouse is one of these places I usually pass by. But this time we decided to give it a try for a late breakfast. The menu was not really suitable for this, perhaps the reason for our 'so so' review, but still the food we ordered was not very tasty.

The best Fish, Chips and Salad I have had in a long time, and I once owned a Trawler, so believe I know fish! This beautiful lunch came with a 'bonus' pint glass of beautifully chilled beer. Quirky, with a boat as glass holder attached to the ceiling! This small boutique restaurant bar is located close to the Stanley Markets... More

First class food , excellent service and a great ambience. Best tables are on the first floor balcony overlooking the South China Sea. This restaurant is on the seafront like most of the others but is a class above, and more pricey. At Weekends the restaurant spills over onto the pavement outside and is a great al fresco experience as... More
