Stylish & elegant The Verandah at the Repulse Bay never disappoints & yesterday evening was no exception. Our overseas guest wanted to end his visit to HK by taking my husband & I to dinner & I am so glad I recommended The Verandah as he thoroughly enjoyed it there as did we. We started with drinks at the bar... More

We had a dinner party for a friend's birthday at the Verandah. There were a total of 8 of us and we occupied the corner table on the left side which made us feel like having a private room. The atmosphere was very peaceful especially after a busy day in the city. Half of the table ordered the classic set... More

After a long bus ride and walk through Stanley Market we stopped at Repulse Bay and relaxed at the Verandah for a drink. Sister cafe to the Verandah in the Peninsula Hotel Kowloon this Verandah in Repulse Bay is quiet respite from energy in the city. Stop in for the afternoon buffet, drinks or high tea starting at 3:00pm. The... More

We visited on a fairly cool day and the restaurant was mostly empty. It was chilly inside which really is unacceptable. The buffet selection was average and for what was on offer it was massively over priced.

We attended our friends wedding here at the weekend. The wedding took place outside and the garden and views were stunning. The staff were very attentive but not overbearing. The food was excellent and the champagne and wine flowed and the staff made sure your glass was always full. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent

I do not recommend this place for high tea. Food quality was not up to par. Service needs real waiters that care about giving service. Not one time did the waiter cone by to even check if my tea needed more water. That's what you will get. No service. Very disappointing for such a historic place with a beautiful view.... More

This is our favorite place for High Tea (be sure to call ahead for reservations). The food is excellent, the view stunning, and the atmosphere very "British". Might be a place to remember.

This restaurant is a luxurious restaurant. The atmosphere is very good and the location is excellent with its proximity to the sea. The food is also delicious with a lot of european and western food.

Went here for afternoon tea for my wifes birthday in November. We were part of an organised holiday in Hong Kong, and the itinerary had us going here on another day, but it was changed so we could celebrate the birthday with the afternoon tea, which was a nice touch. The food was very good and presented really nicely, with... More

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Beautiful setting and good menu selections. We ended up with the 4-course set dinner; however, the kitchen was so slow that it took us more than 3 hours to get done on a quiet night. My lobster bisque was not hot; and my lamb chops came out cold and under-cooked. There would... More
