We had been told that the outfit could not be shorts nor sports wear. Unsure why we have found many others wearing like these though they could dine / walk freely inside the restaurant area? It was our first visit after the renovation. We could not found any oysters. Did we come on the wrong night or no longer serves?

Went there for a dinner buffet last month with family. Limited of food choice and average food quality. Peninsula is well known of its service, but honestly, we didn't find it 'that' unbeatable. Friendly staff but need more training. (dropping forks, empty plates on table, etc) The most unacceptable food is the sushi!!! how could a 5 stars plus hotel... More

Although HK is not my favorite destination, due to overcrowding, I always try to visit the Veranda at least once or twice per week while I visit HK. The Veranda is located within the Peninsula Hotel, which was a colonial jewel with unmistakable British heritage. Both service style and decor are straight-up British. My favorite time to visit is during... More

The building is very British. Tables are set and guests are served in a British manner, though it was more British 20 years ago. The tables are a bit crowded, but the dinning space is still acceptable. Lights are great. Last but not least, food is well above average, but not really up to excellent. A good place to feel... The food is outstanding with a wide variety of great food from around the world. They must have rigorous standards since every berry is sweet and the food appealing to the eye as well as to the taste. It is unhurried and the staff is attentive. Picture arriving at breakfast, your chair pulled out for you and a napkin placed... More

The fantastic service is only bettered by the range and quality of food on offer. Not cheap, but certainly worth it if you are looking for a first class meal.

This used to be my family's favorite Sunday brunch place. We visit on special occasions. The food was still pretty good but I noticed some staffs were very green and not up to the usual peninsula standard and I would recommend more if this can be improved. Nevertheless if you not been here is worth a try rather than the... More
