Excellent modern Vietnamese food in a chic, lively and busy restaurant. All the dishes are great. It is a very successful place, queuing is nearly unavoidable. Recommended!

This very successful restaurant on Wellington Street used to be called “Nha Trang” now goes under the name of “Bep” (“kitchen”, in Vietnamese) and is under the same management as “Bep” on Staunton and “Nha Trang” in Ocean Terminal, Kowloon. We’ve been there frequently, in couple and with friends, and the food was always reliably good. Service level can vary... More

We took a party of 6 to this busy little restaurant. It was very busy and we had to wait at the door for a short while. A real buzz inside. Noisy but nice decor. Food came quickly and was extremely good. Enjoyed the evening and would recommend. Reasonably priced.

Very popular and busy restaurant. Reasonable Vietnamese food at an affordable price. It's a cash only place so remember to go to the atm beforehand!

One of my favorite places for a great deal on lunch and sometimes a casual dinner. Strangely the name for this shop has been updated to B.E.P. Service is friendly and pho is warming. In my opinion they never give you enough herbs but for Hong Kong standards it is surely a benchmark.

The food was great, the staff were friendly. We really enjoyed our meal here recently, we tried so many dishes I couldn't pin one down as my favourite. Price was a little expensive in my opinion, but it is probably due to the location of the restaurant.

it's like the posh vietnamese restaurants. small, crowded, good food, try the veggie ban with the tofu, and the cucumber mint lemon lemonade. what a treat. avoid for lunch as it's about 10 min wait, and dont turn down the options of siting at the bar.

Such good food, quick service, simple yet trendy atmosphere! I was there on a super-packed Saturday evening. But I got a table and the food lickety-split. I almost licked the plate it was so good. Go to the back of their menu for the "Street Food" part of their menu. You'll find authentic goodies there. The close quarters mean you... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
