Nice restaurant, perfect south indian dishes however slightly over priced. The service was good and the person who was at counter did check with us if everything was alright with food and comfort. A good gesture. We had several dinners and two lunch. A must for Kowloon visit. Can be crowded on Saturday and Sunday night, when you need to walk to billing counter and take your waiting que number. Certainly recommend for my vegetarian friends, specially who wish to taste authentic south indian dishes, and they have many !!! Thanks everyone at Sangeetha

Fantastic vegetarian food. By far the best vadas I have eaten outside India. Service was lovely. One of the staff heard my son asking about papad and the next thing we knew, he brought over a complimentary papad for him. It was such a sweet touch. Vegan options available. Everything we tried there (once at lunchtime and once at dinner time) was delicious

Went for first and last time here! Wanted to have dinner with family and we were surprised no South Indian thali is available at dinner. Okay so we ordred ala carte items. However the rice was absolutely tasteless and watery and we couldn’t eat at all. On top of that the staff behaviour was extremely rude and they said this is a South Indian restaurant so our rice will be tasting different! I didn’t know even white rice tasted so tasteless in South India. I politely reminded them that I was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu and very much a southie 😊 To which they said they will cancel the item and not charge. But out dinner plans we’re already spoilt

overcrowded place with not enough staff prpbably as we had to ask for cutlery after the food was served as no one bothered to serve even water or put cutlery on the table. We had over ordered and wanted to get the left over packed. We had to ask the staff several times anf then finally they just put empty boxes on the table for us to pack ourselves. I have never experienced such a restaurant before. Horrible! and food also was just average.

Once again the service n attitude of the staff is what tarnishes the reputation of this restaurant. Ordered a drink and and asked for a glass of ice. Instead I got two cubes of already melting ice served in a small chutney plate. When I asked for the glass server pointed to the stainless steel tumblers placed In all tables. The place was empty but couldn’t bother getting a glass for the customer. - management getting by on the apathy of regular customers. Absolutely shameful!!

We visited the Sangeetha restaurant in wing on plaza at Tsim sha Tsui for lunch. The food is authentic and fresh, it’s better than the similar Indian known restaurant on the same floor of this building( don’t want to name ). The food here was very tasty and had all the goodness of proper Indian food, had the south India thali👌. Highly recommended to everyone who is missing Indian food, they also have Jain and this place is pure vegetarian. Very clean and reasonably priced.

Second review Sharing this from in this pandemic time which is quite shocking for the owner tables are dirty full of unhygienic way no of valuable guest waiting outside with the family kids which is quite difficult without a waiting area still they are quite been a regular and brand ambassador for the Sangeeta brand which Is world 🌍 Wide in the famous one of the leading food chain in the return they are getting bad Seevice arrogant staff and many more uncomfortable things from this place. Well after request many times to the manager Mr Vencut please look into that rather than just simple answer sir we are busy I would say this called mismanagement and horribleness way of operations. Better closed down else pass your license to someone else to operate in well manners. First review 1 years before I don’t have any other choice to give you 1 star even you don’t deserve for 1 Horrible service every time forgot the order while you ask how much time it will take they reacted like they are doing any charity to giving food. I feel really bad for the owner who have passion and pride for his food and some of the lazy nasty waiters make the brand name spoil If you can’t served the customers pls stop serving the food.

Even the younger ones don't use the word "stimulant" to describe the taste of vegetarian cuisine, which has a lighter flavor and is nutritious. However, vegetarian cuisine is significantly different in India. However, with additional spices and spicy flavors, the flavor is more richer and even more stimulating. It also includes vegetarian dishes as its ingredients. You can absolutely give it a try if you want to sample a different vegetarian dish's flavor.

Sangeetha is a southern Indian vegetarian restaurant located on the upper ground floor of the Wing On Plaza in TST East district of the Kowloon Peninsula. They are open daily from 10.30am to 3pm and 6pm to 9.30pm (weekdays) and 9.30am 4pm and to 6pm to 9.30pm (weekends). Seating is casual and menu features a range of expected dosi, uthappam, thali and typical southern Indian starters such as idly and vada. They also serve a handful of northern Indian dishes as well. Prices are very reasonable for South Asian restaurants here in Hong Kong. During a recent lunch, we had a dosi and Southern Indian thali served with a bowl of plain rice and everything tasted great. The dosi, chapatha and roti were good quality and the various thali dip servings were good representation of the six taste elements (sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter and spicy) and each was flavourful, making for a balanced and delicious lunch. We also had sambar idly & vada which tasted fine, salty lassi was thick and quite good. Chennai style filter coffee was sweet and very good. Overall, very happy with our recent lunch at Sangeetha in TST East. This was a better Indian meal than we are used to in HK and a nice opportunity to enjoy some healthy vegetarian food as well. We look forward to dining here again in the future.

I eat quite a lot of Indian food because it is one of my favourite Cuisines. Recently I have started exploring Vegetarian Indian food when I realized there are quite a few in TST. When I walked into Sangeetha, I was impressed to see that they make their own snacks because I normally buy these at Indian shops. The menu was impressive and there was so much to choose from. For Vadas, there was a good variety like Onion, pepper etc and the milkshake range too. Started with the hazelnut milkshake which was very sweet. It was really difficult making my mind up because every item was different and something I wanted to try. Started with the onion vada which was crispy with lots of onions in it. I was so glad I had this because most restaurants serve plain vada. Next was the Idiyappam which is similar to rice vermicelli with coconut chutney and curry. The pairing of these were great as it balanced the fieriness of the spices. Next was the Uttapam whichi is like a thick pancake with lots of peas in it. It was crisp on the surface with juicy sweet peas popping in your mouth. For carbs, I had the fried mushroom rice and Sichuan fried noodles. In my opinion, Indian fried rices and noodles are far less oily but then I am biased because I love long grain Indian rice which is fluffy and soft! I really liked the fried rice because there was crisp lettuce in it which gave it a refreshing mouthfeel. The Palak Mutter was spicy but great with the rice. Overall, this was the best experience because the staff were very patient and expat friendly so I will be coming back again.

Pathetic Service from the whole staff including Manager, served additional sambhar when the dosa was finished, had to ask 2-3 people to get the same....Finally one waiter said it will be charged extra...South Indian items served with such small sambar in the little bowl that hardly any one can eat....charged additional for the sambhar served....Food quality so so...ambience and staff both out of sorts.....Better option woodlands available in the same complex....

Hygiene is very suspect - waiter in dirty clothes, hair in the paneer. Food served on plastic plates. The food itself is quite tasty but we left most of it because of hygiene concerns. At least it's cheap.
