This is not a restaurant nor a grill. A cantina at best and the food is not good at all. Too salty, bad cuisine & not recommended. The chef is definitely not a trained chef. The service is rude and the owner does not greet...More
Would like to comment on food but having made effort to go in person to prebook on the actual day , on turning up in the evening they said they had no tables due to a private party. Poor organisation and booking process which needs...More
We had tuna steak and pork. Cannot recommend the food more - best we have had in our time here. Arrived quickly and cooked freshly, very tasty and cooked with skill. Five minutes from the Ibis Hotel. Cosy.
We really loved this place. Absolutely the best restaurant during our week in Hong Kong and we went here twice. The food was amazing, the restaurant felt really relaxed and the service was great. Really recommend it.
We hv to say this is one of the best meals we had during Restaurant Week. I believe Chef/Owner Patrick Verhoeven prepared the food personally on his own, they were all real good. If you like mussels, this is one place that you must try....More
I was brought to this restaurant by a business colleague who had frequented it many times. It was a classy, relatively quiet place where we were able to get a lot of work done.
All of our party had their very large hamburger, which was...More

I love coming here, it's a home away from home in the busy metropolis that is Hong Kong.

We have been to 238 several times since moving into Sai Ying Pun. Food fabulous, wait service very lovely. Each time we have been there when the owners wife working we have been disappointed. But tonight was exceptional in her poor service skills. We were...More
Warm welcome by the owner. Exquisite seafood imported from the Netherlands. Dishes were proposed in a very timely manner. Great place to stop for a nice culinary moment in a comfortable environment. And not without importance: amazing price/quality ratio
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of
beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
