We felt like Sushi and found the place over trip advisor. Reviews were spot on. The place was hard to find for the cab as there was no street name indicated. The street is Tang Lung Street. Restaurant is in the 16th floor and feels like hidden in an Appartement building. The sushi was outstanding. Have never had this type... More

Have read raving reviews of this restaurant and had high hopes before visiting. Overall all food were okay but not wow, wow, wow. Ingredients were fresh and food were nicely executed - but you can't feel the traditional warm and friendly hospitality here. Price was slightly on the high side but still acceptable.

Visited with family and definitely some of the best sushi we have eaten outside of Japan. Great tuna belly and Uni. We also had tempura which was perfect. Small restaurant with attentive staff. Not cheap but worth a visit.

For those saying the menu is pricey, try the lunch sets which are excellent. Got the sushi set and barring any future travels I might have in Japan, this is the best sushi I've had. Everything is high quality and prepared just right. For Filipino travellers in Hong Kong who love Japanese food, this is a must try. The uni... More

The restaurant is one of the best sushi restaurant I visited out of japan so far. They use their own combination of ingredients to prepare their food. For example, dark or brown vinegar for sushi rolls. It gives the food defined and fascinating flavor what I did appreciate very much. All other food we ordered beside the sushi and sashimi... More

All ordered courses were tasty and satisfied my palate. But it is indeed pricey. Not an everyday sushi place to go.

Already 830pm but all the ramen stores downstairs still have long lines. So I went upstairs to sushi Mori instead. A medium sized restaurant with some tables and a sushi counter and I took the latter. I looked at the menu and was surprised - mostly set menus and cheapest start at USD100. Surprised because decor and staff look dowdy... More

Price charge is mid and up level I'm sure. Raw fish and sushi quality according to the manual quantity I think it's a bit less. Dinner set manual charge around HK$1200-1500. but I can say such price charge with this quality is easy can found in CWB more high class sushi restaurant with more good view ! Corkage charge HK$300... More

Have been to Sushi Mori for lunch before and this was my first time visiting for dinner. It was a weekend but it wasn't full at all and the service was great. The staff were very attentative and gave us a lot of recommendations. We ordered the HK$880 set / person, and liked the sushi and most of the food,... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
