I eat egg tarts all over the world - but the best are from Lord Stow's Bakery Macau - I have been to Hong Kong over 10 times and EVERY trip has to include a visit to the Excelsior Hotel in Causeway Bay. EXpresso is a small coffee shop on the ground floor, licensed by Lord Stow's Bakery to sell... More

I thought I understood egg tarts. I had eaten egg tarts at some of the more highly rated bakeries in Hong Kong. Then I found my way to EXpresso at The Excelsior. EXpresso is the one and only place in Hong Kong that is licensed by Lord Stow's Bakery in Macau to sell their egg tarts. Lord Stow egg tarts... More

The cafe serves delicious Portuguese egg tarts, coupled with a cup of coffee. Service of staff is good, only thing is cafe is a bit small, will not be able to seat big groups.

Service was cool, staffs were great. Very kind and peaceful support. Enjoyed egg tart with coffee. Tart was not too sweet, recommend to visit once to get a quick breakfast before starting shopping.

Good tea, yummy tart, flaky croissant - quick and easy alternative way to grab breakfast on the way out the door if you don't have time or appetite for full breakfast buffet.

Love the egg tart here. Will always come here for a cup of coffee and two pieces of egg tarts whenever I am around CWB. Recommended.

Always return for their freshly baked tarts. Conveniently located at the Excelsior Hotel. Even if not staying at the hotel, will make a trip there to buy the tarts for friends in HK.

Coffee is good and a very reasonable price by Hong Kong standards and the egg tarts are amazing! Good range of food on offer and very prompt service. Very handy to have a cafe like this located in the lobby of your hotel.

Coffee is nice. But the best thing here is Lord Stow egg tarts. Even taking away and eating it chilled the next day is good.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
