Brickhouse location is really cool and down a hidden side street off D'Aguilar, the place is packed out and the music is great. Very nice vibe and definitely not a place for a quiet chat with 2 people, best to come in a group. The menu is enticing and sucks you in as soon as you read it. We ordered... More

I still dream of getting back here. Great food, amazing drinks. Start off your night with a drink at the bar. It's art to watch. Bar tenders are busy but super friendly. Make sure to plan a visit.

Heard about this place from a close friend, after finding the place our group was greeted with an electric atmosphere and food to match. Cocktails were outstanding and the service whilst busy still managed to be timely. Overall a good start to a night out, line the stomach with some good food and kick start with even better drinks.

So when one taco the size of your palm is served to you for 65HKD it's safe to say this place is over rated. I've had better from an el do paso kit for less! You also pay a service charge on this but when you go to the bathroom and the floor is soaked with urine and toilet paper... More

They say location is key in Hong Kong. But whoever has been here would agree to disagree. Walk up down a dark alley and your are greeted with a buzzing crowd and groovy music. On a Wednesday night this place was packed as if it was a weekend. That tells you you are at a good spot. Decent food (nachos... More

You'll walk right past this place, it's down a dark, dingy alley. But that adds to the coolness of the Brickhouse. I've gone about 4 times now. They have a huge selection of tequila and the food is outstanding. It's packed, go early to get in. Try the beef short ribs or the taco platter. Everything is awesome. Good fun,... More

My husband and I ate here when we were craving some Mexican food. We had a rather difficult time locating the place as it is down a small alley. But, when we found it we loved the atmosphere and the music! The food was very good as well. It is easy t o spend a lot here. I ordered tacos... More

We are a late night restaurant and bar focused on food mainly from Mexico City. Not the type that you find in every city… the complete opposite in fact. We pride ourselves that our food features healthy options, small bite size items, loads of variety and it all comes together on an eclectic menu. But Brickhouse is more than just amazing food, just as important are the drinks, service and that we are in the dining room meeting and talking with you late in to the night…At Brickhouse we believe it’s the raw fundamentals that makes food exciting in the first place; great ingredients, sensible and simple preparation cooked by people who care. The best ingredients will always be in style. Brickhouse is transporting Mexico City’s diverse cuisine into dishes and drinks with explosive and addictive flavours to surprise your senses. Brickhouse is a simple feel good sanctuary to eat, drink and hang out all night long.Awards: - Best New Restaurant -- Sassy Awards 2013 (Brickhouse)- Best Restaurant for Dinner -- Sassy Awards 2013 (Brickhouse)- Foodie Forks Awards - Readers' Choice, Best New Restaurant (Brickhouse)- Best Restaurant -- Asia Tatler 2013 (Brickhouse)- Best New Restaurant -- Eat & Travel Guide 2013 (Brickhouse)- 4/5 stars -- HKMag July 2012 (Brickhouse)- Highly recommended by Chinese celebrity food critic, Susie Wong (Brickhouse)- 'Best post-party munchies in town...' --- Prestige August 2012 (Brickhouse)- Mexican Consul General's foodie faves -- Baccarat HK September 2012 (Brickhouse)- 'Tacos get elevated to gourmet heights at Brickhouse...' -- Where Magazine October 2012 (Brickhouse) - '...Brickhouse, by this very definition, is the epitome of cool." -- HKMag December 2012 (Brickhouse)

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
