I've been to a few Din Tai Fung locations, and – at least on the day I visited – this one had some of the better soup dumplings that I've had.  There were a couple menu items that I don't see at other locations: meat...More

Went there apprehensive because the research indicated a line up factor with the assumption of a fast moving, get you in get you out establishment, albeit immensely popular. We came away in awe of the choice. Arriving to a line up, fortunately a table for...More

This was our first food experience in our visit to Hong Kong and we were not disappointed. We arrived at about 6.30pm on a Friday night and the restaurant was already quite busy. We were quickly shown to our table and given our menus and...More

I have been to the branch in Taiwan and I can confidently say that this one is far superior. I have never tried anything as mouth-watering as their 小笼包. The service is prompt and efficient. I will definitely visit again!

This cost quite a bit more than we were expecting (HK$900 with beers) but I did not mind paying that much in the slightest: this is some of the best dim sum in Hong Kong. Particular highlights were the peppered pork, the xiao long bao...More

This is one of my favourite places to chill and chat. Food is clean, delicious and consistent. Rice is lovely here. Worth the wait if you have to.

My wife and I were staying at a hotel just across the street from Din Tai Fung and as it was a rainy night we thought we would give it a try and we were not disappointed. We came in at 6:00 on a Sunday...More

If you like sim-sum this is place to go excellent service and excellent food! The pork dim sum are the best! Plenty of food for a very reasonable price!

My daughter absolutely *loves* DTF. Well did. If there's a DTF in the city/country we visit, we go there for the dumplings to cater for her love and cravings for xiao long bao. We generally like the quality of the food and service from DTF...More

Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of
Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and
restaurants, both areas are bustling with people –
tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the
highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more
polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart.

No they don't. During peak hours the wait can be a minimum of 30 minutes. But they have a fairly good queuing system. Also, customers are given a max. of 1 1/2 hours to finish their meal - which is actually more than enough... More

Sorry... just saw the question... if anyone asks, best is to take airport express train and get off at Causeway Bay. Or take taxi from station.

Don't think their chicken or pork is halal. Choose vege dumplings, vege buns and noodles instead. go for early lunch (before noon) or early dinner (before 6.30pm) so you could get a table easier.
