Every time I've been there is a queue, but people wait for up to an hour outside, having a drink. We did the same, got in after 45mins, had some really good and very well priced food, good drinks in a place frequented by young, mostly expats, of various origins. This is not a fine dining restaurant, nor do they... More

brilliant modern Viet food cooked with passion, presented with style , served with great cocktails and in a tiny place packed and buzzing with people. A great vibe and a fun and delicious meal.

Been there couple of times, food was good, music as already comment before from someone else it's too loud and that answer from them is, be early for a quite environment it's no sense. There is no quieter environment at all. Service was good to average when we tried before, some staff are realy kind, friendly but managent, supervisor or... More

This place makes you forget that you're even in China with the westernised feel. I felt like I was in London. The food I ordered was so delicious! Only negatives are its really small in here, the demand is pretty high, and this little place just cannot accommodate all the people that want to be in here. Also the menu... More

This was our first wine bar in Hong Kong that we went to. We were really impressed with how trendy it was but unfortunately we were relegated to sitting outside which was actually quite a nice experience but did lack space.

The restaurant offers a selection of snacks, small dishes and mains for sharing. The food is a symphony for the palate. We have been there three times and tried various things. Every single dish has been outstanding. The restaurant plays energic music, and it makes you happy to be there. Cocktails are also really good. This is probably the best... More

Our local GM took us to ChomChom, a small, cramped, loud restaurant on Peel St in Central. The Vietnamese street food served by this kitchen is outstanding. Definitely fit for foodies. We had Pho roll, crispy sole in rice paper roll, kaffir lime chicken cabbage salad, black cod, wok fried vegetables and the shaking beef lettuce wraps. Each dish perfectly... More

I went with a group of friends for a dinner before a night out in LKF. The food was amazing. Everyone at the table agreed that it was some of the tastiest food they've had. The drinks were nice too. The place had a great vibe and the staff was able to accommodate our relatively large group of 7 people... More

This restaurant does not take bookings unless you want a large table so you will need to stand in line. Small restaurant and fully packed so tables are close together and as a result the noise level is high. Food is fantastic and served quite efficiently as in all of these modern popular non book restaurants turning tables is paramount.... More

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
