Plaza Mayor has moved one street over to Sun street now and I'm writing this review after at least half a dozen visits. Its still the same vibe, kind and generous owner and staff. The tapas are great because they're more like what you find...More
Having recently relocated from Moon Street to the adjacent Sun Street, the "new" Plaza Mayor is smaller than its predecessor. But rather than detract from the new restaurant's appeal, the smaller environment has arguably enhanced it, creating a cosy and vibrant atmosphere. On the evening...More
The location of this restaurant is good but it comes at a price
The average small tapa is over £10 and the average price of a bottle of wine £45 to £60.
Five tapas and two drinks came to almost £100 which is expensive even...More
The open air surrounds made the tiny place seem comfortable rather than claustrophobic. It is difficult to find in the little Moon courtyard, but a lovely spot once found.

This is a great little restaurant that serves good tapas and usually it's possible to get a table quite easily.

Great dinner at Plaza Mayor. Excellent service by the staff and owner. Food is delicious, and my favorite dish Squid Blake ink Paella.
Location: wan chai... Away from LKF, but close enough to go to next round once you have eaten at Plaza Mayor.

We’ve been at the Plaza Mayor a few times and have never been disappointed. Usually we start the evening with Red Sangria and order the Jamon Iberico Bellota, Patatas Bravos, Croquetas de Jamon, Chorizo and the Pulpo a la Gallega, amongst others. Once the dishes...More
Very good authentic Spanish cuisine, we tried many items and enjoyed a good bottle of organic red wine. Located on moon street and near a whole cluster of good restaurants. The bruschettas were excellent as was the jamon.
