<Sigh> How times have changed. Al's Diner used to server the best burgers in town. They were succulent, big and well made. I started eating here back in 1997 and it was the burger place to be. However, not anymore - unfortunately. Yes, the location in LKF (Wyndham to be precise) is good with plenty of people and drinking around.... More

Relaxing place, Well priced food and large portions. Pretty authentic. Waiting staff is very friendly. Food is good. Had the steamed fish and mashed potatoes while my friend had the patty melt.

My sister and I have recently returned from Hong Kong and we spent a great evening at Al's Diner. Located in the buzzing Lan Kwai Fong area of the city, they serve the best burgers in town, staff are really friendly and you can dance the night away to some great music. All overseen by the hands on, welcoming manager... More

This was one of the first places to set the tone of LKF on D'Aguilar Street. It's still around but not quite as glamourous as it used to be. Still good for a few beers and people watching as crowds move to and from Hollywood road above.

I come to Al's almost 3 times a week because I work just up the road and they never fail to impress. My favourite item of the menu would have to be the cheese burger with bacon and grilled onions added. At a reasonable price, the food is spectacular !!!

Visited Hong Kong last year and came upon this place and I liked the unpretentiousness of it. Relaxed, clean and nobody trying to drag you in off the street. It was a nice place to go for some quick food and you can also watch Premier League football there, which is handy if you're into that. I returned this year... More

Lots of bars around in D'Aguilar street, but this was the only one that had Guinness on tap ... and that is exactly what we wanted on a warm Friday afternoon. The food was excellent, the burger was as good as any that you can expect in US...we found the staff very friendly too ... but as expensive as any... More

Great American diner, which has all the good stuff. If you got some time to kill, and you are looking for some comfort food, it is well worth a visit. The bathroom was an absolute mess though.

We had received a few coupons for Al's Diner from our serviced flat. I had an appointment on the same street so took the opportunity to look for Al's - it was the one with no one inside (or out for that matter) except the staff and one patron. The rest of the bars were filling up yet Al's remained... More

Well...a bar that's located in LKF which expat areas. Food was so so.. it's a bar, what do you expect. But it will be very interesting bar when HK 7 is on or football game. It's a great to have a sip of drinks before dinner in this place.
