I come here with the family every now and then. Always of a high standard. Decor is spacious - in fact as spacious as you get for Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. Decor - pleasant and classy but not luxurious. Ambience - just about right. Service - what you expect from a Grand Hyatt. Food is as good as it... More

I was excited to go here as i found some good dim sum reviews .. however. dim sum is only served at lunch - we went for dinner - so maybe the dim sum is great at lunch?! unfortunately we also went when there was shed loads of construction outside so the view was not worth it either. I had long wanted to eat here and wasnt disappointed. A long and confusing menu arrived (I think it was confusing only due to my just arriving from a long flight!). I was having some trouble with it and the wine list. The prices seemed high for my first meal on the island this year. The maitre d stepped in... More

This place is known and consistently deliver the finest Chinese cuisine and world class service. Your request is their command. A fantastic wine list available too as long as money is no object. Ask for a table by the window to have a great view of the harbour and Kowloon side. Even though cranes and construction is in the way,... More

Great food, wonderful view and excellent service! A smart restaurant with an excellent wine list and diverse menu. Peking duck has to be ordered beforehand. We didn't reserve a duck and were pleasantly surprised when offered a Peking chicken! Try it -very worthwhile

A great upscale Dim Sum lunch with very professional and attentive service. The staff was great with giving recommendations as I was a bit overwhelmed with all the choices they had on offer and. it turned out to be a very tasty meal with a second to none service - very impressed!

A split-level restaurant resembling an elegant mansion in Shanghai during the 1930s, with superb Victoria Harbour views, cosy residential decor, glass ceiling and a fountain. The cosy home ambience is enhanced by rich Santos rosewood timber, while natural stone creates a light airy feel at the lower veranda. The fountain with distinctive glass mosaics, custom-made carpets, wooden furnishings and draperies all add to the final residential touch. One Harbour Road is best known for serving traditional homestyle Cantonese cuisine, lovingly prepared and graciously presented. The Chef’s Table private room inside the kitchen features exclusive innovative dishes and presents a rare glimpse into the workings of the kitchen.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
