Crispy eggplant dish was yummy. Fried momos also nice and juicy. Goat cheese samosas were nice. They served nice wines - my friend had a nice white wine. You can also order from the restaurant next door called Enoteca. Prices reasonable. Service was good.

Friends and I used to visit the old Cicada all the time and the new version doesn’t disappoint! Two small dishes is enough for one person although it was hard to chose which ones to order. And who can complain at 35 hkd for a...More

We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner on our first day in HK and came across this little gem. Friendly staff and great eats.

The menu is interesting, with a few non-standard dishes (a lentil and pumpkin curry, which is quite nice), but I found most of the food more salty than flavorful. The sticky rice - and we love sticky rice - was too sticky. Spoonfuls towards the...More

A very nice dinner out for 2, and some interesting dishes which were quite out of the usual standards. Nice atmosphere, and friendly service, would definitely go back another time. We had the crispy eggplant, which I have never had anywhere before and it was...More

The food here is amazing, I’ve been here two times. The first was with family and second was solo. They are very reasonable priced and their portion is alright. Their mock tails were very nice as well. I ordered a mosquito and it was good....More

Cicada is very much a regular haunt for me. January, Shova and the team are always very welcoming and helpful. We will often sit at the round table at the front to people watch on Elgin before going into the aircon to eat. My partner...More

We went as a group of 4 and enjoyed it. It wasn’t the best food but still good flavours. And as it is tapas style you get to order more things and try various dishes which was nice. Very good overall.

Was looking for a south East Asian fare and stumbled across Cicada. Nestled among many other restaurants and bars the restaurant hasn’t too many tables but we were fortunate enough to get in. The menu is simple with approximately 15 choices. The staff were friendly...More

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies

late into the night and there just happens to be a

No, is not pure vegetarian. This is a small, casual, tapas bar. Good drinks, good tapas. But nothing spectacular.
