This is a chained restaurant which sells very good fast dishes during lunch time. In the afternoon after two, it serves various cheap tea sets and one of the best is fried fish served in a long bun. The Hong Kong style milk tea is excellent also.

very good as the service is super efficient. But the price is a bit expensive and not much change in the menu! I hope the price can be more reasonable!

They pride themselves on good ingredients and this is very rare for HK restaurants - transparency of content - CONGRATULATIONS as more and more people crave for this. No more added preservatives,. A simple menu with photographs .... all done the Chinese way !

Tsui Wah is one of the most well know Cha Chang Tengs (Hong Kong Style Cafe) in Hong Kong. Its name appears in many tourist guide books and hence becomes one of the most frequently visited Hong Kong style cafes here. The price on average is on the high side. Its food quality however is only very average. Most locals... More

If you like to have something light before bed, I guess this place is good for quick and easy late night supper. It is not crowded as other places in Jordan or TST and can get a full menu of chinese noodles, sandwich, lemon tea, milk tea, or something more if you are hungry and would like to try more... More

The first time we arrived the restaurant wasn't too busy so the service was pretty good by Hong Kong standards. The next day we returned during a much busier time and were rushed through our meal while being seated next to a worryingly foul smelling kitchen.

There are several branches and outlets of this brand and I have tried a few in Central and Causeway Bay but not the one in Pak Hoi Street. They should be similar and quite popular for locals and tourists.

This restaurant is in the local business area near Temple Street. The food quality is stable as you may imagine from the brand name "Tsui Wah", a listed company in Hong Kong. Prices are at the high end among local restaurants.

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighborhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighborhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighborhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
