We went there during the year end period, what was admittedly a very busy period in HK. But even taking this into account, i still can't get pass my experience there: The system there seems to be set up for the worst customer experience. The...More

There is nothing refined in this chaotic frenzy of old-school dim sum teahouse experience. The staff serving/cleaning our table look like have been there most of their working life - very chatty and friendly. They were carrying these giant metal pots of boiling water for...More

We did a tour where we were seated and walked through the dim sum experience, including washing our own dishes in tea. Food was brought to our table by our guide so we didn't have to fight for it and we were very glad to...More

I was brought to this place by a local who also chose the right time. Yes, because dim sum is a something that people eat in the morning or anytime before afternoon. This place indeed doesn't serve dim sum after 4 pm. There's a "ceremony",...More

Loving it! Chaotic Hong Style dimsum. You find your own table. Have to fight your way to get your food. We paid HKD 350 for 8 plates of dimsum.

The restaurant was crowded. Hard to get a full table. So 2 of my family members sat on one table joining some strangers. When 3 family members got an empty table, I asked the earlier 2 members join me on the same table. The waiter...More

Absolute mayhem, be prepared to push and shove to get the food you want. The trolley comes out and people follow like bees to honey. You need to visit this restaurant just for the experience. The food is ok, not five star but acceptable.

The plates, chopsticks, spoons all are dirty, service is terrible, staffs are rude and shouted at us for being slow to order the food, we have to fight for the dim sum when the trolley of dim sums are pushed out, over crowded, people do...More

I was ready for bad service and boy they sure didn’t disappoint! The service was appalling to say the least. However I was expecting at least decent tasting food and after tasting like 10+ variants of assorted dim sums and items from ordering menu I...More

We chanced upon this supposedly iconic dim sum place when we were around the area. The servers were not too rude today. However there was not much variety available. Besides what is shown below, there were chicken feet, spare ribs , sponge cake and pig...More

Based on my observation, you may not be able to find gluten free dim sum in this place. Nobody care whether you have been sitting there for hours and still have not placed any order. Their dim sum is not cheap either so my... More

No Reservations. We went around 10 AM on a Friday and it was busy, but not packed. As 2 people we didn't have to wait. You should expect to sit with other parties at most, if not all, restaurants in Hong Kong. Also I... More
