First introduction to Hong Kong after a long absence and what a great find. The view is stupendous and the restaurant very romantic and the food was delicious. We were very tired after a 12hr flight and this restaurant met every one of our expectations. We highly recommend it.

Hutong is actually belongs to Aqua Group, they both share the same view and Aqua is just one floor above. The deco and view of Hutong is stunning. It shows how traditional Chinese design could merge with a modern environment. The service is excellent and the food is good, but a bit over price. Generally speaking, it is still worth... More

You come here for the view. The service is good, and the quality of the food is just fine - but you are paying that premium for the view. Whether it's worth it of course is a personal decision. For us, I think it was. It was a nice meal, and I certainly prefer it to the "western" restaurant one... More

The food was good but not as impressive as the stunning view on Hong Kong island, our dishes were a little bit too local for us (really spicy and sometimes peculiar) but the portions are generous and the staff helps you enjoy the experience. Would recommend it to any travelers staying in HK for a few days.

An amazing location and an amazing decor. The lights and the design is fantastic. The view absolutely spectacular. We booked in advance and asked for a window seat which we were given despite being late. The food was also very good. It's quite expensive but I think it was worth it. They had their signature dishes marked up on the... More

Hutong is part of the Aqua Restaurant group in Hong Kong. If you book the Aqua Luna boat ride package you can dine at any of their restaurants after the boat trip. I think dinner at Hutong is the best after experiencing Aqua Luna because it can't get more Chinese than this!! The decor, music and everything is just amazing... More

The WOW factor on arrival with the lights of Hong Kong Harbour was the highlight. The food was disappointing and the wine very expensive. Cocktails were the best value. The service was slow and one of our mains was completely forgotten and the next table received a totally for dish to their order

We recently visited Tokyo, Beijing, and Hong Kong. The Hutong in Hong Kong was the best restaurant we ate at between these three cities. The food was served in courses (western style) and was modern, though local. The cocktail list and wine list were great. The service was wonderful and our waiter's English was great. Last, but not least, the... More

Amazing view over the harbour & brilliant to watch the light show . Food was very good but don't really have anything to compare it to . Dim sum & duck was on song as was the fried rice . Service is very rigid & you can't hang around , 2 hour table .. Worth it $100Aud pp

Stunning views, mouth watering food & signature cocktails made it a memorable occasion. Only disappointment was the cucumber salad that was overwhelmed by too much raw garlic... waiter noted we had barely touched it and took it off the bill.

Description
Reminiscent of an ancient family courtyard in one of Peking's fast disappearing hutongs (courtyard houses set between narrow lanes), Hutong's interiors are set against the most breathtaking skyline of any international metropolis. This is not the only surprise. The sense of adventure and sheer avant-garde creativity continues in the innovating cuisine inspired by the culinary styles of Peking and Shandong province.
