The restaurant is on Elgin a Street in the heart of Soho. The menu is not overly large and of course focuses mainly on Steak. The starters are reasonable - had. Tuna Tatar which was a bit bland and missing a bit of oomph! But the steaks were sensational - had a rib eye and wife had fillet. Sides are... More

Came here because I saw some good reviews on Yelp. Was thoroughly dissapointed as the steak was grainy and very chewy. It was disappointing.

We entered the resto two days before & was greeted by a jolly Filipino waiter named Romeo. He recognized us & suggested instead of eating their lunch special to come by dinner for their Wednesday Special. True enough, the place was filled to the brim with a waiting line & others having to be turned away. If not for Romeo's... More

This is the second visit for my wife and I. Enjoyed the first time so much that we brought our daughter back as she loves a good steak. The different steaks we had were all done to our specifications. From medium rare to well done. The different sauces available for the steak were a bit disappointing. None really stood out.... More

Decor and ambience at this Soho eatery is sophisticated and appealing. As the name suggests this is predominantly a steakhouse but we enjoyed generous portions of well prepared salmon and pork belly Each main is supposed to come with a complimentary side dish of vegetables but on our visit these were charged for despite being queried. The creamed spinach and... More

We have been disappointed on our return to Craftsteak. The steak was good. The wine list was limited and VERY expensive. We had a Felton Road Pinot Noir at 980.00HK. The same wine can be bought for 250.00HK in a upmarket wine store. The service was good.

A very cosy, rustic steak house with a service with smile and excellent steaks! We arrived here at 830pm in a group of four for a birthday dinner and were seated at the window table. We ordered an individual steak and a bottle of red wine as we didn't have much time for the appetizers. We were being told that... More

We had the tomahawk steak and a couple of veg. The char on the meat was excellent. Chicory flavor. Would def recommend for a decent and flavorful steak. Richard the manager is a great host as well.

Staying in Central

Neighborhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
