朋友說慶生,當然要吃得好一點,而其中一位友人是食肉獸來,點名要吃扒,負責安排的朋友不敢怠慢,找了幾遍,卒之找來位處大坑,風評不俗的「Bovini Steakhouse & Bar」,以高質扒房而言,價位相對便宜,這晚一行3人,就來鋸扒盡興。餐廳屬小店格局,裝潢簡約而富情調,感覺很有氣氛。由於我們來得早,客人不多,但離開時場面熱鬧。 店長推介了新出的套餐經典美式鐵板燒,當然有興趣試試看。套餐包餐湯、鐵板燒及甜點,定價為$498-$698。因為扒類有14安士份量,我們就點了兩款,再加些散點菜式。 餐前來一點香蒜法包,法包烘得脆口,而蒜味香濃。 散點了一道沙律「Classic Caesar Salad」($92),以大型剔透的玻璃碗盛載,賣相很別緻,而且,更將煙肉分開放,方便怕肥的客人。食材沾勻醬汁,清爽新鮮,巴馬臣芝士都是用即刨貨色,有誠意。 套餐只提供「New England Clam Chowder」一款餐湯,可以說是不用煩選擇。對周打蜆湯絕不陌生,但這裡的就有高級的濱演繹。以農夫包作為盛器,包身十分脆口,也怪不了我們抱整知麵包吃掉!而驚喜位是兩隻巨型花甲,既厚肉,又鮮甜,平常所見的雪藏蜆肉粒不能相比,再者,忌廉湯很綿滑,內裡還有迷你帶子粒喔。 由於我們只點了兩客套餐,所以,就額外散點一客「Wild Mushroom Soup」($98),一送來已嗅到濃濃菌香,入口果然不得了,湧出澎湃菌味,質感順滑而帶點杰身,皆因湯內仍有很多幼小雜菌粒。 主菜選了一道混合海鮮「Mixed Seafood Pan Grill」($568),包括龍蝦、黑鱈魚及帶子,龍蝦燒得爽口,肉質很有彈牙感,黑鱈魚十分嫩滑,而且,充滿油香,帶子一看就知是新鮮貨色,彈牙是預期得到的狀態。 另一道主菜則選了「14 oz USDA Ribeye」($498),14安士果然不同凡響,十分巨型,而且燒得焦香誘人。選五乘熟,切開一看弄得恰到好處,肉色保持粉嫩而沒有半滴血水,細嚼口感軟熟,肉味濃郁,是一件很有質素的肉眼。每一道主菜都包一款Side Dish,其一是選了炒蘑菇,炒得很香;而另一款選了焗薯,焗薯已放在肉眼旁同上,加了酸忌廉及煙肉碎,十分好吃。 看餐牌時,甜品是美式新地,以配合套餐為美式鐵板,有點可惜是轉了朱古力蛋糕及美式芝士餅。不過,兩款甜點亦出色好吃,前者朱古力十分突出,質感軟滑,後者芝士味香濃,面層還有點似焦糖似的,薄薄脆脆。 綜觀用料,是高質素貨色,師傅手勢也不俗。服務非常貼心,外間天氣甚寒,主動幫我們換上熱水,又知道我們是共享主菜,而吃過沙律,就即時換上新碟,大家也吃得非常稱心滿足。

今天去天后某家酒店接待我外國過來的台灣華僑朋友,她對亞洲食物還是沒多喜愛,所以我就帶她去大坑走走,然後就被 Bovini 的外觀 和 menu 吸引進去。 餐廳不算很大,桌子比較寬,所以不會很擠到感覺,同時因為桌子少,所以人的嘈雜聲不會很大,兩個人聊天就不會那麼辛苦,我們還好早去,因為他們家已經 fully book,而且是星期一呢! 開始不相信,坐到 7.30分 真的是滿場! 因為朋友是女生,我對女生通常都肯花多點錢,這樣才有好感嘛! 看看 menu 有 dinner set, dinner set 永遠是我最愛,因為不用想太多就點了就是! 作為男生還是大方一點好,不能小氣點 便宜的 set dinner, 而且東西少很多 這樣印象還是不好,所以我點了 Premium 4 course dinner set.
