Everything was very nice. I tried the lemon/ginger tea. The products they use are bought from eco markets and you can feel the difference. Very cute place in one of the most famous and visited streets of Hong Kong.
What an amazing find. The food, ambiance and service were absolutely wonderful. But these paled into insignificance when compared to the amazing rose water flavoured coffee. If I ever come back to Hong Kong I'll be visiting this cafe again.
We stumbled across this little gem in need a calm place to have a nice coffee. Coffee was good and enjoyed the little sweet. No WiFi in order for people to actually speak to one another; very nice idea.
For a change, I was not out looking for a coffee when I stumbled across this little cafe!
Of course, once seen, I had to try out their coffee. It was easily the best I've had since arriving in Hong Kong.
Great atmosphere, great presentation,...More
The coffee tastes very good with pricing around 40-60HKD rather expensive. The atmosphere is great (decoration, music, overall feeling) but since the shop is very narrow it is not suitable for a group of more than 2 people. Due to people constantly passing through very...More
If you like something off the beaten path then you will love Halfway Coffee. In a little hidden alley way in Sheung Wan, you will find this little gem. It is small and narrow, but pack full of character.

I have visited Halfway Coffee for its coffee and food twice. First time, I went there on a Sat. afternoon alone, to enjoy a cup of latte and its homemade lemon tart for tea. The lemon tart was a bit sweet to me, but came...More
Just stumbled in this cute little cafe.
Coming from Melbourne, Australia where the coffee is one of best in the world.
It was surprisingly a great quality coffee served in cute tea cups.
If you need a good caffeine hit... come and try
Had the breakfast and a cappuccino. The service is friendly and laid back. The coffee shop is quite narrow so do not expect big armchairs! However the food is good and slightly quirky. The coffee is good with a rich flavour and a good finish....More
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of
beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
