I walked across lamma island which was amazing and beautiful. Stopped at the end for some seafood and a nice cool beer. I'd heard about the extra charges for tea and sauces but the staff member said they were mandatory so I had to accept the $16 charge for sitting. The staff were very rude and seemed like they did... Having heard a lot about the Rainbow Seafood Restaurant, we were looking forward to the experience. Instead, what we got was plastic tables and chairs, very indifferent and hurried service and a hefty bill for the pleasure. Maybe it was a worthwhile destination in the past but I suspect one can do a lot better in Hong Kong.

This is one of those which you can pick your seafood from the tanks and they cook it fresh out of the water. We ordered steamed garlic shrimp, steamed garlic top neck clams, and stir fried scallops with broccoli. All were delicious. Prices are reasonable considering this is fresh seafood in a supposedly touristy area. Would recommend eating seafood here... More

While food is truly amazing - the service is lousy and watch the tea (which they just place on your table) and the little sauces!

Get the free ferry from pier 9 in Central. Beautiful journey around Hong Kong Island. Accept that this is not 5-star Hong Kong, but rather a remote fishing village with some café style eateries selling fresh seafood. Salt & pepper prawns, chilli crab and steamed garoupa all fantastic. Reasonably priced wines for Hong Kong. Loved it.

Made booking for 12.30 PM, arrived on ferry to find it was closed. No email to cancel booking or say sorry after sending an email the day after.

Seafood restaurant on a remote island, ok if you seat outside, super cold air conditioning inside. Can select live fish. Cheap atmosphere. Doesn't worth the travel.

While the food was pretty good it was vastly overpriced and our server was less than enthusiastic about helping us with anything. They would not provide me with extra suace for my calamri despite being advertised with additional sauce, would not bring extra napkins, and require all guests to pay three different fees, for tea, a service charge, and a...
