Set in a crowded commercial harbour, so don't have an image of idilyic gentle floating in a picturesque bay. Welcome was warm enough as you step off the free ferry shuttle but there after it was like being in any westernised Chinese restaurant. The actual waiting staff had a couldn't care less attitude, and the food was uninspiring and served... More

The boat is beautiful, we were allowed to take photographs inside. It was the middle of the afternoon and the restaurant was open. We were shown to a table and given a small menu of dim sum. Our food arrived which was delicious. I was very disappointed though as the tables either side of us were given the full restaurant... More

We took a sampan tour around the bay before arriving at the restaurant. Once there we went straight up to the 3rd floor for dinner. We were in a group and the food was served family style. If you go just outside the restaurant you can see the fish market however I would not suggest this as it is very... More

This is more touristy than authentic. The food, while not top notch, was above average for a tourist spot (go for the Dim Sum menu). There is a free shuttle that takes you directly there, but for HK$60 (about $8 USD), you can take a 20 minute ride around Aberdeen Harbor, which is nice on a sunny day, and be... More

I was brought to this restaurant by my tour guided. It was described as a place highly popular with locals. However, it turned out to be a common touristy spot, huge space, traditional dishes, fast service but... no soul within. I would not recommend this place if you are really looking for something authentic.

Our group had a 6 or 7 course meal here. It was very safe to eat here. You have to get there by sampan boat. That is an experience. I can not climb up and down easily, but someone will give you a helping hand. Not good for wheelchairs. It does have an elevator in the resturant. When you are... More

The food was nice but so expinsive, they charged us for tea and apitisers that we didn't order at all, only 2 of us and we paid around $200 for one rice, one sweet and sour shrimp, one mashroum, two stuffed crab and 3 Coca-Cola.

Always heard about this floating restaurants not the middle of Aberdeen. Caught a sampan to the restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Recommended dishes. Had lobster which was well worth it. A little pricey but a good experience.

This is a Destination of beauty, colorful walls and ceilings and hanging porturats. Great selection of meats and seafood. I ate pork with oriental seasonings carrot salad with a Shrimp Cocktait, and blue berry cheese cke for dessert. Tables were set so 6 people could dine together like on a cruise during busy times. Service was the best, I saw... More
