Came here for lunch but beware the a la carte menu may offer better prices than the lunch set. Best laksa i have had in hong kong and i really like the clear round noodles and the rich, aromatic soup base. The place was packed even on a weekday. Portion can be bigger.

We were very disappointed with the chicken satay. It was mostly skin with very little chicken. The sauce was tasty. We just wanted something light after our long flight from Sydney. A bowl of prawn chips was put on our table without asking. When the bill came there was a charge for them. Tricky way to increase the bill. I... More

Part of the hotel opposite the lobby. We had a simple main course of asian food which we very much enjoyed. House wine at HKS12 was probably what you would expect to pay at a good hotel. Service was excellent although the chat between manager and a member of staff at an adjacent register was a little noisy and not... More

Unlike most of the Hkg restaurant's services, this Satay Inn offers very good service and polite, try the chicken satay and carrot cake and fried rice complete. My kids love it. The price is fair considering its location is one level with lobby of the Pacific Royal hotel in Hong Kong China City mall.

The restaurant is down behind the Royal Pacific Hotel, and by HK standards, is very quiet. I have been here several times, and it never fails to disappoint. The menu is quite extensive, reasonably priced, service is good and food is good. Coconut tapioca pudding is beautiful.

Nice salad. Noiseless and nice restaurant. I think it is a Singapore restaurant. Very beautiful sea view especially with Sunset.

each time we come to Hong Kong, have at least one meal. The night supervisor (lady) is really good. Try the desserts as well

Had a meal here on my last night in Hong Kong. The food was excellent. The staff were excellent. It was pricey though. You will get similar food for less than half this in WanChai or TST. Handy to the Royal though.

We had a lovely quiet evening here in the air conditioned outdoor section near the harbour, which in busy Hong Kong / Kowloon is no mean feat in itself, but the food took ages to arrive & then after a great starter each we left some of the mains as they were distinctly average & we'd been waiting so long.

As my Hong Kong friend loves spicy food, I decided to have dinner at Satay Inn. The carrot cake (chye tow kueh) was nice and authentic but the same can't be said for the other 4 dishes we ordered. The Hokkien popiah tasted nothing like what we have in Singapore although it was quite tasty. However, the satay tasted peculiar... More

Authentic Singaporean and Malaysian dishes gourmandized in the alfresco dining area freshen the air and your mind. Panoramic sea vistas stretch across to the Satay Inn, where the emphasis is on fresh, a philosophy expressed in the cuisine, the ambience, the style and the surroundings. Chef's recommendations: Hainanese Chicken.
