Went for a birthday meal and had the tasting menu - amazing food. Some dishes on the menu were not to our taste and were happily substituted by the waiting staff. Worth it just for the views over the water alone!

I was so looking forward to going to Nobu but sadly to say was very disappointed. The food was average except for the black cod which was very good. The view and service couldn't be faulted, which did make the visit enjoyable. Nobu needs to lift its act and stop running off the name alone. Offer the quality of food... More

Perfect dining experience. From service to the pin point taste - Nobu HK is one not to miss. Dine at 6 to see the Sun go down on the beautiful harbour. From the seared salmon belly to the toro's and black cod - Pure bliss.

I love the original NY Nobu. Have always preferred to dine there whenever possible. I do have the advantage of living in NY so it is easy (relatively speaking) to do so. However, since Nobu has expanded so much, similar offerings can be experienced in other locales. Coming to HKG few times a year has often brought me back to... More

I went Nobu several times for lunch and tea. I think the lunch is just average but the tea set is impressive. The presentative of the set is fantastic and different from others. The food is Japanese style and those green tea drink are really special and tasty.

Had the set lunch on Sunday with free flow champagne. Place was reasonably full. Champagne was nice and they were generous with the refills. That in alone makes it value for money at $750 a head (plus discount for local HSBC card holders!). The starters were distinctly run of the mill though. Nice crispy belly pork but the sea urchin... Simply an amazing evening with an excellent Fusion meal overlooking the Hong Kong Harbor. The Nobu signature dishes are out of this world, and their own Saki is also worth a try. We particularly liked the Yellowtail Jalapeno, the Black Cod Miso and the Toro Tartar. These are highly recommended.

Nobu restaurant provides Japanese dining with a hint of western style influence. First of all, the view in here is brilliant, you can enjoy the habour view, and the decor also beautiful. The best dish here is "Black Cod Saikyo Yaki". Highly recommend!

Description
NOBU, the world's most acclaimed Japanese restaurant, is renowned for its innovative new-style Japanese cuisine by world famous chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
One of the world’s “Hot Tables” by Conde Nast Traveler USA on its prestigious “Hot List”. NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong, showcases Nobu’s signature dishes, as well as new creations using local ingredients.

NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong was designed by the Rockwell Group, who created the original NOBU in New York in 1994 and has designed many of the NOBU restaurants internationally. With panoramic views overlooking Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island, NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong features a stunning yet intimate dining room inclusive of a sushi bar. Both the bar lounge and exclusive private dining room (for up to 14 guests) also have magnificent views of Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.
The design of NOBU InterContinental Hong Kong is inspired by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's innovative cooking and the imagery of the Japanese countryside where he grew up. Traditional and modern Japanese elements, combined with the influence of water inspired by the adjacent Victoria Harbour, culminate in this intimate, yet dynamic dining experience. Food and architecture evolve into waves of movement and serenity. Key design elements within the restaurant include a unique undulating sea urchin ceiling and custom-made bamboo embedded terrazzo. At the bar, a cascade of black riverstones frames glistening imagery of Japanese cherry blossoms, a signature feature of the Nobu experience.
Open daily for lunch and dinner; serves Afternoon Tea every Saturday and Sunday from 2:30-5pm.
