It was a place that would immediately interest you as you stepped in. Located in a historical site of former palace. Chinese version of western fine-dining. The dishes tasted better than they looked. The staff claimed the veggies to be organic with herbaceous healing effect....More

A purely vegetarian restaurant is a rarity in a city like Beijing. However, King's Joy has proven to be a delightful vegetable experience. Close to the landmark Lama Temple, the well-decorated fine dining restaurant with its chic interior is surely a pleasure to walk in....More

The decoration style fits the traditional Chinese aesthetics positioned in the center of Beijing near landmarks. Close to subway. It's dishes are vegetarian Chinese dishes with new design in both tastes and appearance. Definitely worth trying.

Me and a friend here went here during a trip to Beijing because, as a vegetarian it is extremely difficult to find meat free food in China. The service was excellent and Jackie, our waitor was lovely and chatty with us. The whole feel to...More

Very old, basic accomodation- great location for landmarks and convenience to subway. Staff have very little english and their service is quite poor. Breakfast was hit & miss. If on a limited budget its ok for a very short stay while travelling in Beijing.

Wow, what an absolute dream. From the moment I stepped into the premises, my breathe was taken away. I was dining alone and was made to feel so comfortable. I had the set menu. Each dish was a work of art and described in detail...More

We read about this vegetarian place in The Beijinger magazine and went. We were definitely pleasantly surprised! It is an upscale vegetarian restaurant with prices to match, but for us it was worth it. We had a 5 course menu (599 yuan) with a lovely...More

In my top three lifetime meals. Every dish was perfectly cooked, presented and served. Clear and distinct tastes, blended together in a foodie symphony. Ambience was sublime to match the food. 14 courses of raw and cooked vegan treats served in a private dining room...More

I might be late for this. I thinks it is best to make a reservation. It is a popular place. We were a party of 4 and were able to get in without reservation, but otherwise it was packed for lunch
