Really enjoyed having drinks in this bar and can imagine it would be great for sports. I was disappointed by the food menu, I checked the menu on TripAdvisor before going and was excited to see they had curry chips and poutine which was labelled...vegetarian. When I went to order there were no curry chips and the poutine was no longer vegetarian. The menu was not a typical Irish bar menu, I missed seeing the staple menu items you always find in Ireland. Would definitely go back for drinks and to watch sports but not fussed on the food. Staff were really nice and friendly and prices were ok for the city .More

Went there last night with some friends for their Quiz night. My table ordered a multitude of different dishes, everyone was happy with what they received, I heard no complaints from anyone regarding food or drinks. Prices were to be expected for western foods in...downtown Beijing. I myself had the Pastrami Panini; it came with French fries. It all tasted good, but honestly as a serious carnivore I expected much more meat on it. Perhaps list extra meat as a possible option? I would have paid extra for more meat, but as it was my first visit to Paddy’s I didn’t realise how light the sandwich would be. Nice pub, predominantly expats as customers, nice to hear English being spoken again. Quiz was fun, typical pub quiz, something to do on a Wednesday evening. I have no issue recommending the place or going back myself, think I’ll try the pizza next time though.More

After passing this pub in our neighbourhood we decided to give it a try. The pub opens at 3:15pm & we arrived at 3:45pm. My husband ordered a meat pie & was told it would be a 30 minute wait as the kitchen had just...opened - no problem. I ordered a Cobb salad advertised to come with Ranch dressing. My salad arrived long before my husband’s food. The dressing was mayonnaise but I was able to request something different. The chicken breast on the salad appeared to have been semi cooked, frozen & thawed as it was partially raw & cold so I picked it off my salad & began to eat a very mediocre salad. My husband got his meat pie after 45 minutes & discovered it was really just chili in a dish covered with pastry. We decided to call the meal quits & left the entire meat pie & 3/4 of my salad. When we asked for the bill the server disappeared for a bit but no manager came to speak to us. We paid the full bill & left. It did not appear that the manager was around but we asked that the manager be made aware of our experience. The server was apologetic. The quality of food left a lot to be desired. Perhaps this was why there was only one other customer in the pub.More
