There are 2 McD's in the shopping area of Wangfujing Street... one is south with large exterior and the other is in the Xindong'an Shopping mall w/ a small exterior entrance. I went to both a couple times- no one speaks English; save frustration by using the touchscreen order system. They have the USA favorites and some local options.

The decor colors and the name are exact, but the menu is in Chinese, the staff is Chinese as are the customers and thats what makes it good. The hamburger and coke are sweeter than in the states.

You should stick your head into McDonald’s just to see what’s the same and what’s different. It is fun watching young Chinese get their hip American moment at McDonald’s. You can get your standard Egg McMuffin and you can also get Congee - try ordering that at your local Mickey D’s. I enjoy the veggie wraps as a nice change... More

This can't possibly be a McDonalds! Portions were so small that you have to order 3 sandwiches or more to make one sandwich in almost any other country. What happened to "fresh, french fries"? Stale, old and cold food is what I learned about McDonalds in China. Bathrooms without toilet paper, dirty tables and messy, messy, messy everywhere! Fire the... More

Went over for a takeout for my kids. Chicken and hashbrown was ok. The rest of the Big Breakfast was a Big letdown. Service was ok, though non English speaking, they had English translations on the card menu. Overall a fair experience.

Went in there for breakfast one morning. Service was average, long queue, one person taking orders. One thing I will say is that they made clearly the best coffee I experienced in China and I looked for a McDonalds when wanting another.

This just another typical Macdonald outlet, but it offers beef, fish, prawn, chicken and pork burgers. It is good that the variety of meat offered here in Beijing China is more than some countries

We went at night Convenient to shopping and hotels Staff were slow and inattentive. We waited at the empty cash register for quite a while before being helped Service very slow Downstairs seating was full. We went upstairs. Every other booth has people lying down sleeping (looked like an inner city bus station) Fries were limp and old. Cheeseburger was... More

A colleague and I wanted a quick lunch and McDonald's did the trick. The staff was friendly and we ordered by pointing to pictures on a menu. McDonald's in China do not accept credit cards from outside China, so be sure to bring cash with you.

Thank Gary N
