The peking duck is fantastic and the room is beautiful . The service however is very strange for such a nice restaurant. The pace was way to fast ,making it difficult to enjoy the experience.

Beautiful restaurant. Very good duck. Also had prawn dish which was great. What wasn't so nice was the crab which seemed to be a whole crab fried in tempura batter" very hard to get the meat out. Staff lovely and got us a taxi after which wasn't so easy from the location. Very enjoyable meal. Not cheapest of evenings especially... More

You're in Beijing so you need to have Beijing [Peking] Duck. Well on this trip I had many and this place was by far the best. You need to book and order your duck in advance. The restaurant is on a little private bit of land and you walk through an art gallery to get there. The staff were friendly,... More

Amazing duck. We made reservations the day before. It was super easy. Went in, the duck was ready. Ordered a side of beans and a side of dumplings, both were great. Their house wine was really good as well. Highly recommended!

This was recommended to us, so we went there, with a reservation of course, to eat their famous slow cooked duck. It was indeed good, but one whole duck (they say is about 2.5 to 3 kg) was hardly enough for the two of us. The chef cuts and prepares your duck next to your table. With a bottle of... More

Dinner for two and of course ordered the duck. May be the very best Peking Duck I have had. My first trip to Beijing was 1985 and have returned many times since, but I really don't see how you could do better. My experience was the service was excellent and the duck was perfect. Right down the street from the Waldorf... More

We were recommended this restaurant for the Peking duck dish. Not being well versed with Chinese cuisine, we were not sure what to expect at the restaurant. Our tour guide had recommended that we try the Peking duck for a culinary experience of popular Beijing dishes. We had a reservation for 8:00 pm and reached the restaurant on time. It... More

The Duck was good, not really crispy. Good flavor and tender. The service should be better, MOST of the waiter doesn't speak english, you have to call them every time, not really educated people with the clients, they don't mind! Also they don't manage árrange a taxi....and you are in pekin is a problem. Not recommendable place, at all!!!!

Great duck and desserts, but unfortunately the comments about the service are all true... They really serve in a rush. We had just you ordered our apéro white wine, when the whole duck was already on the table. No explanation on how to eat it, and no after dishes with the remaining of the duck (which I had read they... More
