We arrived early and were glad we had a reservation as the restaurant was already getting very busy. We were releived that the staff spoke english as it makes ordering that much easier. We had 3 young kids with us and the staff gave them...More

This very popular restaurant is located in an old aristocratic house built around several courtyards. You can eat inside or out, or in one of the many private rooms. The food is excellent, mostly Beijing-style. It is a haven of peace in busy Beijing.

There are enough positives to make this popular for the foreigners who seemed to make up the majority of customers. A bilingual menu with Beijing style dishes, good portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. The underlying ingredients were good quality but the taste was far too...More

Came for one thing and one thing only: proper peking duck, and Hua's delivered just that. Don't be deterred by the masses of people waiting outside as there is a lot of take-away available for which most, if not all, people are waiting. Head in...More

We had a great meal here. Dishes were very finely made with near perfect cooking timing. The surroundings of this restaurant is one of its biggest selling point. It was a private, typical Beijing style, residence. The restaurant took pain to retain the architecture characters....More

Hua's restaurant opens at 9pm according to my sources and closes and 4:30am. I'm not sure about the 10:30am opening time. This place is on a strip where many restaurants exist. We picked it as it didn't have a queue. 10mins from Grand Hyatt and...More
